Sandgat, Vanderkloof

If you travel in the vicinity of Vanderkloof Dam and you need a place to stay over for the night or if you want to stay for a week or two this is the place to be. It is a fantastic campsite with lush green lawn to the river's edge. Beautiful Willow trees to camp under. The entire campsite is well thought out. If you don’t have a Caravaan you can rent one of theirs. Just bring your own bedding as they don’t include any.

Had the pleasure of two night campsite at Sandgat. Wow. What an incredible place. Fantastic facilities. Friendly staff and safe and secure. Really loved spending time here. The fish eagle calls were the cherry on top.

Great location along Orange River, green grass, lots of trees. Artfully decorated caravans to rent. Mindblowing sunsets - highly recommended

Very nice with the trees and the river!! Just sad about the fact that theres no water during loadshedding. Otherwise very nice place with the friendliest people and staff. The playground is wonderful and neatly kept. The fact that it is dog friendly is mostly why I give 5 stars!

A awesome Funky Park, with the Orange River passing by and a view off the Vanderkloof dam wall. Clean ablutions and perfect lawns. Bit pricy but well worth the stay.

Nice stands and well looked after ablution. Staff clean on a daily basis. Lovely for kids and for a weekend getaway. Will definitely visit again and can recommend!
