Sandton Wound Clinic

So this clinic was a complete God send during a tricky part of the year - the December holidays. Just book a week or at least several days in advance. I had had skin cancer and plastic reconstruction operations, the wound was in a place really hard to do wound dressings for, and I just couldn't FACE changing the dressing myself the first time after the operations. Or trying to get a GP appointment, with someone who doesn't do specialist wound dressings regularly. Sister Angela was amazing! Wonderful bedside manner, put on a new dressing thats really tricky to do, sold me a very hard-to-find specialist ointment used by plastic surgeons too. Inside the Sandton Mediclinic, and fairly easy to find.

This Clinic and Angela gave me the best care anyone could expect. She specializes in the treatment of lower leg ulcers and has a high sucsess rate. I travelled 270 km each week for 7 months to be treated by her.
