Sani service is sooooo poor they don't tick the damages on the car ,when you bring back the car they will try to charge you for something which was the!! on the day the car was hired, than you are told its your responsibility as a client to check the car as if I am working for SANI
To be honest search for another rental company you might not be offered a seat. Their car had leaks battery problem and they still give it to the customer. As to the staff not all but rudeness.
When ever you need to rent cars, with great price..
Car deals a reasonable but the customer service is very poor, it feels like hell they don't reply email or even taking calls when you go to them you will seat a lot of hours without help. They treat customers like trash, I don't wish to go there again.
Pathetic service hired a vehicle ,came with no fuel absolutely dry ,bakkie was jerking to the garge ,filled the tank next day ready to leave to work van doesn't start ,the office gets AA to come in ,they say electric fault ,the head office doesn't know who has the bakkie ,took the vehicle on the 6th of February only received refund on the 14th of March and the fuel is not being refunded l.
The staff at Durban is incompetent; hired a van yesterday, paid and when I'm doing the check list the car isn't road worthy. I was then told to pick up this morning but they had delays and have to pick up this afternoon. Their service is very poor.
SCAMMERS OF NOTE! They first claimed that they cannot return our deposit because the mechanical breakdown on their vehicles was due to negligence, then called me to say it actually wasn’t negligence and they would return the full deposit. I extended the rental agreement and paid another deposit. Upon termination of the second rental agreement, I was told the vehicle had a cracked windscreen and they could not return the second deposit. I had signed a tyre and windscreen waiver, to which I was told was forfeited due to “breach of contract”. Both the first deposit which they said they’d return and the second one are still being retained unlawfully by them. I’ve asked for comprehensive statements as well as the exact clause in the rental agreement that stipulates forfeiture of a waiver and they can’t even respond to my emails.
Be very careful. When time comes to debit your account Sani has no issues but when it's time for refunds you will be made to dance around. Read the contract carefully and dont listen to verbal commitments. I was told by the consultant there was an initial once of document fee but this was charged every month. This was charged although it was clear to the consultantant that it was a month to month. I returned the vehicle with a chip on the canopy and the amount was deducted from my deposit. 6 weeks later and I am still waiting for a refund. 12 June 2020. I have sent multiple emails but still nothing. I am now convinced that this is just a ploy to hold my deposit on your interest bearing account as many other customers have had such complaints. I have now referred the matter to the ombudsman and intend to seek legal advise . 16 June. Still no response from this company with regard to a refund of my deposit. Last communication from them was they are waiting for a release which is over 3 weeks ago.
These guys are a bunch of thieves. Be very careful. Been trying to get my deposit back and no one has the courtesy to respond to emails and calls regarding refunding my deposit of R6500. Rather take your business elsewhere if you wish to get your deposit back
I like how they treat their clients and try to get their requested vehicle ready as soon as possible, only the downside is the long queue which means they're good at what they do and are gaining new clients everyday
