The contact number places you on hold and cuts you off. I have been trying to raise my application which has been outstanding for more than a year and I can't get through on the number. How else can I escalate my application as my emails have also not been answered?

They almost never pick up the phone when you call them, and if they decide to, the service is mostly terrible. The staff seem very miserable, and are sometimes rude. Processing competency and licenses take for ever!

Do not answer calls. I have sent 14 emails and still have not received a response. This is what you get when you employ unqualified and incompetent people.

I've submtted my competency application at Wierdaburg 8 April 2021. Took them 4 month to load it onto the system 3 August 2021. Now it has been 4 month since the last update on the progress 11 October 2021. I've sent an email to a list of people and only two people responded. One giving me more email addresses and the other send me a confirmation of my complaint. I am trying to find out if they lost my application or not. Today I am on 215 working days and 317 days s8nce I submitted.

Submitted my competency documents/application on 28 October 2020. Still waiting for updates. No answer when phoning, and the call disconnects after a couple minutes. When checking with the police station where I submitted the documents they just say that the application is still being processed.

Been waiting for over 60 days for the comptetency. I can't speak to a human because no one answers. I have no idea where it is in the process nothing. And complaining on mail is just as useless If we had more trust in our SAPS we wouldn't be in such a rush. This is ridiculous

Absolutely disappointed at their services. I'm sitting at almost 150 days since my application. Nobody answers calls nor reply to emails.

Would give 0 stars if possible. I was told to send an email if approval takes more than 90 days. Sent email, no feedback. Made more than 20 calls to CFR and DFO, not a single one answered

I have a Firearm Lisence stuck at "In Preperation for concideration" for over 3 months now, and I cannot reach anyone to Enquire about what is wrong or why it's stuck... My lisence application is almost 300 Days now, and the initial turn around time is supposed to be 90 days? It's absolutely ridiculous... And I can reach anyone via phone or mail, no response from both for 3 months now. Cadre employment, and incompetence....

I have called more than 8 times in the last 3 working days. All three times i have been on hold for over 30 minutes. all Three times i have had my call cut by them. My application has been there since the 17 May 2019 and still nothing. Anyone got a managers number or someone i may report this too? As this is a huge waste of my time and money!
