Riding a horse teaches new skills, improves balance and coordination, it develops self discipline and improves self esteem and promotes independence, communication and social skills.
At the EARTH Centre we create hope through horses. We interact with the whole person - we strengthen the body, challenge the mind, and lift the spirit through our equine assisted programmes.
The horse provides the stimulus which revitalises human lives because he takes us back to our roots, to nature, to movement, to heart based communication and to a challenge and adventure which is not dependent on brute strength, but is based on love, respect and mutual understanding.
