The first time visiting them and I got so much items for great prices. This is a NGO organization and they souly rely on donations in the form of money or your unwanted items that they will resell. They have a big book section, furniture, clothing, frames and so much more. A small coffee shop that serves delicious light meals, beverages and a few seating options available. Wheelchair friendly but with limitations. Clean restrooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Inside and outside open parking available with security guards present. They are very busy but with good reason, so much to see and save on. Highly recommend supporting them.
Had my first visit to the shop today - what a pleasant experience in the bookshop. So very well organized, books according to authors, alphabetically, wide variety. Spent way more than my budget. Books are in a good condition and at good prices. Will definitely visit again soon!
You can really pick up some bargains and items are reasonably priced.
Was able to get 10 clothing items for about R200, very happynot only are they clothes but painting, books, furniture, dvds, notebooks and soo many more, the woman that helps by the clothing area, is good to work with
A lot of items for sale, from clothing, decor, books and tools...all under one roof. The little coffee shop also has delicious milkshakes and coffee with light lunches available.....all this for a very good cause!!
People working there keeping the stuff there and selling. Dont support them!! Theres better charity shops to donate and buy from in Pretoria
Friendly service, and you get good quality preloved items for sale, from books to clothes and they have a lovely coffee shop
This Cultural Exchange thrift place is a joy to visit always. From a collectable of Books, Mags, Ornaments to full functional items like furniture and Electronics one can find them under one room. Better part is these are all proceeds of Charity price on the cheap most probably to some who is also badly in need of them. The old age has been operational for ages and seems to fulfill its role and many people find this as a cultural exchange haven especially with the restaurant on site.
Came to buy a book I saw previously, closing time was always 16:15 and it is still shown as this on the door. At 15:45 they said they are now closing.
It's a great place to dig for treasure : especially if you're on a budget. Gets busy on weekends and pensioners day. Staff are friendly, everything is pretty well organised for a thrift store and the money goes to a good cause.
