Went there for a walk a dog afternoon. Not easy to walk between the cages and see the large number of dogs and cats given up or abandoned by owners. I have so much respect for those who do this out of love. We own two dogs that we adopted from Wollies a few years ago and we love them to bits.
Cilla and her team is totally amazing. The dogs and cats are so well taken care of they receive so much love. The animals have alot of space to run around. Even in the cats section it's clean and they are so well taken care of. Thank you for allowing us to spend the they there
Please go and visit Wollies if you have some spare time. The staff there is very friendly and will assist you with going in to the kennels and playing with the cute dogs and cats. They are desperate for some volunteers to go and help out with feeding, cleaning and just to go and play with the animals. It's heartbreaking to see so many animals abandoned but the people over at Wollies have given their lives to help them all. Feel free to visit them as often as you want as there is always something to do and a cute dogs and cats to play with. You can also adopt dogs or cats over here so instead of buying from breeders please consider adopting from shelters like Wollies.
Cilla and Brian were extremely helpful in the adoption process. They truly love animals, which is seen in their interactions with them. Noodles is very happy with her new home. Keep up the good work!
What an amazing Animal Shelter where they truly care about the animals there, they don't get government support and rely on donations! Let's all try to donate to this amazing cause!
Wollies is doing an amazing job with looking after these amazing animals from the biggest dog to the smallest cat. I took my dog there 2 weeks ago to get sterilised and it was such a easy and smooth process and at half the price a normal vet would charge. Thank you everyone at wollies for the amazing work you do everyday.
A while back, I purchased food donations for Wollies. There was a young girl and the owner who received the donation kindly. But there was an elderly lady in the office who was unnecessarily rude. Given that I drove there, while heavily pregnant with a donation, I found her behaviour unnecessary and repulsive. I have never been back and I donate elsewhere. Even if an organisation is an NPO, social skills are important to attract and sustain donors. My second dog Lilly was adopted from here on an earlier visit with great support from other team members. I have looked after her incredibly well over the years. Unfortunately my experience with the shelter was marred from the last visit.
Had my 8month old Boerboel spayed. The service was amazing. They have genuine love for animals. The fee charged was reasonable too.
It's always a pleasure visiting Wollies. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
A young cat got stuck in the tree in front of our house after trying to assist it eventually came down from the tree into the cars engine. We managed to get it out and took it to Wollies animal shelter were it was received by staff that seemed to care as we were not able to keep the cat.
