The food, ambiance and service was amazing! Our waiter Amos was amazing. His personality and interpersonal skills was amazing. When my son spilled his drink Amos calmly helped clean it up super fast so that we could enjoy our meal.Food: 5/5

Ambiance here is great, seating well spaced out and the restaurant isn’t noisy. StaffNonhlanhla were extremely pleasant and helpful and really did the most to make sure we were satisfied. Unfortunately the food did not hit the spot for me. Ordered a chicken breast meal which was a halved breast not a full one, it was also quite dry. Ordered two pizzas and for a place making fresh clay oven pizzas it was horrible, can honestly compare next day leftover debonairs pizza, would not order pizza here again. We also ordered steakmedium to well done but it came too well done. Perhaps a once off bad experience but I would be reluctant to go back.

Delicious food, great service and very accommodating staff. Calisto's has a splendid ambiance and is well-decored - making it the perfect venue for a staff / business lunch, a family birthday dinner or a dinner date.

Food was ok, the fillet steak was lovely. I find the food at the Rosebank branch much better. Staff who assisted us paid very little attention to detail. No dishing out spoons for our Salad or Pasta, drink order only taken after our meal arrived. We ordered water twice, first time forgotten, second time around we asked for a jug of water with glasses and we were asked what we needed that for. It's a large restaurant and a very busy one. Staff need to well trained to handle the volume of people in a quick and efficient way. Little things like this negatively affect the diners experience.

Food was good but terrible service. They made us wait for quite some time for a table and took down our details and said they'd phone us when a table becomes available. They didn't phone and eventually we had to keep pestering them for a table. Some people were given a table because they seemed to know the 2 Indian men at the door. They make you feel as if they're doing you a favour by dining with them. They should rather allow people to phone and make reservations so you don't have a whole lot of people queuing outside, waiting for a table, as if we have nothing better to do Service was also slow. Hubby wanted to eat there, but I was more than happy to eat elsewhere They'll also ignore you and act like they don't see you. It's a shame because we enjoyed the food. They just need to fix their attitude and treat everyone equally.

Amazing place, amazing food. I have been here over 5 times and each time the service was great and the food never disappointed. Weekends be prepared to wait for a table, however it will be worth it.

Worst Calistos thus far. We've been to many Calistos and this one doesn't even come close. 1. Ordered a extra hot half chicken was dry and very mild and lacked complete flavour. 2. Ordered a steak and eggs and round chips. They didn't even have round chips. The steak was as thin as a minute steak and definitely not 200grams. The steak was so over cooked and complained to the manager and he just laughed about it. 3. Ordered 10 prawns and chips and the prawns were okie not as good as the other a Calistos. It's like they don't take care in preparing the food. Definitely would not go back there. Waste of money and time. Should of just had McDonald's would have been more satisfied.

Excellent Was extremely busy, waited around 20min for a table. But the service and food was excellent, food didn't even take long to arrive. Manager came to check if everything was alright
