Serengeti Self Catering Units is situated 5 minutes walk from the famous Tyger Valley Shopping Mall and not even five minutes drive from the Velodrome and Bellville Athletics Stadium that is famous for hosting major sporting and social events. Situated in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town it allows you to be in a matter of minutes on the N1 High Way about 25 minutes drive away from Cape Town central, V&A Waterfront as well as the Cable Way; Century City or Canal Walk Shopping Centre is 15 minutes drive away as well as Wineries and some wine routes as well as 20 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport.

We have had an excellent reputation for the last 10 years and existing clients have had only praise for our service, friendly atmosphere and daily cleaning with clean units. Our prices are some of the most reasonable in the Cape.

Accommodation

- One Bedroom Unit: Sleeps up to 3 guests. Open plan kitchen with living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Main Bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom and shower. Single bed in living room.

- Two Bedroom Unit: Sleeps up to 5 guests. Open plan kitchen with living room with a fully equipped kitchen. Main Bedroom with double bed and one single room with two single beds. Bathroom with a shower in the bath.

- Three Bedroom Unit: Sleeps 6 guests. Kitchen, living room and dining section. Main bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds in each with their own bathroom..

Units very neat,but superviser with check in very unprofessional and rude....accused us of overcrowding after her husband gave us permission with the booking for an extra person and made us out as uncevelized people in the first 5min minutes she met us...asking me repeatedly that we don't make a noise as they will ask is to leave the premises....we are well cevelized people and that is the treatment we get within the 5min she met us.
We've been their several times, and now I've also introduced my friends to the place. It really feels like home away from home. Peaceful, clean and secure. Even now, as I'm writing this review, I am trying to secure a booking for DecemberRooms: 5/5
Broadway self-catering is worst place ever.Firstly,we reach it was double booked..had to wait for another available place..There are pillows without pillow cases..only have 2 cups,2 bowls of cereal but we booked for 3 adults...They say they clean every second day,We arrived Sunday and it was cleaned Wednesday only one set of towels..only 2 toilet paper..we didn’t know we suppose to bring our own dishwasher soap...The place was terrible...bathtub have mold..finally when they bring towels it was hand towels which are brownish in color with whites stain...it was nightmare sitting with full bin cos we waiting for Wednesday for the housekeeping
We enjoyed a splendid stay at 13 Serengeti Sabie street. The unit is well equiped and comfortable. The location is great advantage as it is easy accessible from N1, Table View and the Airport. It is close to Tyger Valley shopping centre and various other shopping centres. We certainly will book again !!Rooms: 5/5
Apartment was infested with cockroaches, dust on furniture, the bedding was obviously not changed prior to our arrival and definitely smelled as if someone had slept in it. Shower doors are broken and nearly fell on me. Couldn't wait to leave. Felt like we should've been paid for our stay. DON'T RECOMMEND.Rooms: 1/5
The unit we occupied had COCKROACHES!!! Floors were dirty, towels felt like sandpaper. Sorry, never again.Rooms: 1/5
A dear friend of mine has been severely impacted by the lack of regulations and general disregard for the health and well being of the actual respectful people residing there. The managing staff have apparently done nothing to help any of the situations or terrible behaviour of some of the residence.
This unit is private and so clean. It still feels like a home. Parking is front of the unit and the complex is quiet and private. Josef the host is very friendly and always tries to assist. Very accommodating. I booked through Travelground, they have never dissappointed me.
2point plugs were absent, kettle not working, mattress cover in main bedroom was dirty, bathroom was clean thank you, tile grouting behind stove was dirty and there wasn't that fresh clean smell. Was quite disappointing ‍
When i arrived the cleanliness was horrible, mif shower curtains, dirty linen, floors looks terrible and just overall not nice. You get woken up 8am by maintenance drilling and hammering right by your window, no notice was given or anything. Housekeeping gets upset when you ask them to come "clean" 30 min later. Not a very nice experience and i would not recommend this place.
