I loved it, to be honest! Maybe it's because by now we're basically all impervious to the slow serving speed from Shoprite outlets so we tend to look the other way and concentrate on other small winds. Despite the slow serving speed of staff, this Shoprite is fully stocked with well cooked food for take aways as well as baked stuff. You may however need to pay special attention to their fruits and other perishable stuff in case some of it would have gone bad.

Produce is good. Prices are very reasonable. It often feels as if the shop is to small to serve all the people doing shopping there. Most cashiers are very slow operating the till/pay points, and could really be more friendly. The shop could stay open for an extra hour on each day of the week, including weekends.

I shop here on a daily basis due to it been close to work never really had major issues till today when I saw that I was sold expired goods, bought yogurt on the 25th of November and yesterday when I was packing it in for my child it expired on the 25th November Shoprite I am livid and your staff treated me like rubbish when I enquired

A neat store that follows covid19 regulations. I just hate the fact that their queues are always long.

terrible service from very arrogant and rude Cashier Ncediwe Dyantyi yesterday morning.My extra savings card number is on my phone because i dont want to carry alot of cards with me so i normally give it to cashiers but she made a big deal out of it. Totally unnecessary!

Always crowded. Not because of shopper traffic, but because of poor shop design and layout. The checkout section does not have good queue management, with queues inevitably snaking into the shop aisles itself, causing congestion and poor room for movement. Could do with a major restructure and it'd be up there with many of their flagship stores, considering that this branch is in the city centre and has huge potential for classier provisions.

Unprofessional staff and most of them look so disinterested. Instead of starting with a greeting they rather ask you if you want a plastic bag. Smile is hard to find if not from the supervisors. Staff to staff conversations is the order of the day instead of prioritizing customers. Customer care training is highly required here.

- Star to be honest! staff is not very helpful at all and the store is not clean. I mean flies by the deli and noticed coackroaches. I know that its central and very busy, but this is a business and management should be the cleanliness of the store a priority, come on!

I dont have a issue with the staff but I do need to mention that the food items in this Shoprite is never fresh. I purchased cupcakes today and was so dissapointed when I got home because they were hard as rocks. The strawberries I saw 2 weeks ago had mold on them . I am definately not purcahsing any food items in this Shoprite and would not recommend it to any of my family and friends.

Cashier makes a mistake because she was not paying attention, well thats not really a big problem. But wen l show her my till slip that she made a mistake she looked at me with a very rude face, and says if u saw me doing a mistake while scanning why didn't u tell mr. Well my plea is please teach your staff to be polite with customers, m only there to get bread and jacobs coffee satchets n nothing more.
