Silvasons Hardware & Building Supplies was Established in 1999.

Peter da Silva established Silvasons Hardware in the heart of Primrose, Johannesburg. Setting a fine example in EFFICIENCY and CLIENT SERVICE in the hardware industry.

Silvasons Hardware & Building Supplies was started from the ground up in November 1999 with Peter da Silva taking a chance in the hopes to create a successful local family business. The journey has been tough but he has never looked back. The main objective of the store was, and still is, to offer the best possible service to all past, present, and future clients.

To this day we have a forever growing cliental and our friendly staff always have some knowledge to give or learn. This hardware store has evolved into a successful family business, with staff members that have over 10 years’ experience.

We strive to provide each customer with the best service and prices possible. We provide companies, contractors, and individuals with account facilities to suit their needs. If a customer requires a specific item which we do not have, we do our very best to source it and have it within 24hours depending on the product. Special, unique, and rare products are a specialty of ours as we go out of our way to find them no matter the scope or scale. We are a very willing company that looks to compete with all our competitors provided there is a written quote.

The Silvasons name is a break up of our surname SILVA and our Lucky mom only has SONS together SILVASONS the store is run now by the SONS and we have all been working together for over 20 years. We are young fathers and understand the customer needs and problems. We are flexible with the business and do our best to adapt with the times still keeping the true customer relationships honest and understanding. Our slogan is “where you deal with family” and that should tell you all. Peter Da Silva Daddy passed away on 8/07/2021 From infection in the body. He is missed everyday in every way the Boys and Mom are all in the business and will keep it going"
