Well positioned inside the East Rand Mall. Comfortable and a sure way of knowing what you will get as the Spur is a large franchise and well run. Good staff and good food at reasonable prices.Recommended dishes

I was holding off posting this bad review, because I am not one of "those people" who thrives on leaving bad reviews. BUT... After just receiving the worst possible service from Spur Mall@Carnival, where I eventally turned around and left because nobody was seating the would-be patrons, I am angry enough to post this. On 20220125 around 19h00 we treated a family member for her 14th birthday, by going to your restaurant in particular even though there are at least three other Sprurs much closer to where we reside as we have always received superior service compared to other branches The photo's attached are of my and the birthday girl's burgers, which aside from being a miniaturized version of what it is on your menu, was dry and tasteless. This was without question the worst burgers I have EVER eaten at any Spur. And I have for several years ranked your burgers as no.1 in the country. This was such a disappointing letdown, that I am hesitant whether I will risk trying another Spur burger again. The patties is even worse then McDonald's patties, which was exactly how we all described it. TERRIBLE food on what was supposed to be a special occasion.

I'm so so happy our Spur has improved from 2 star to 5 star...i once commented oubout Randfontein Homelake Sour about the excellent service we received there and now I experience the same privileges here at east Rand mall...keep it up guys well done Parking: Basement

Food does not match up to other spur franchises and service is so slow. I want to thank the manager on that day who salvaged the situation. Cannot remember his name. But well done in a situation where anybody else would not have bothered.

Staff don't know what they are doing. Not trained very well. Ordered a ranch breakfast and no mushrooms. Totally unacceptable. Yet full price was charged. Really pathetic.Food: 1/5

Since its opened its always been busy, the staff are friendly. Recently stopped here for breakfast. Tried out the new "kickstarter" I was so excited when i saw this on the menu but was slightly disappointed. The wooden board didnt do it for me. The Cheese sauce should have been over the Egg as it made my toast soggy. I also wasn't keen on the Cheese Sauce. This needs a spicy 1000 Island kinda sauce... otherwise their wings and my texan mushrooms were quite tasty the last visit.

My food was cold when I received it and I asked the waiter to heat it up. He was very helpful and took my food back. The manager , Andy, came to apologise for the mishap and a little while later he himself brought my food back. Although I wasn't to upset about the cold food I was really pleased with the manner in which the manager handled the service breakdown. Thumbs up for Andy.
