Visited their store a few days ago, dealt with a lady by the name of Talent. She was pleasant and professional. Unfortunately She was unable to assist me but gave me the owners contact details. Sent the owner, Friedrich Kern, two polite messages, both were read and ignored, I consider this rude. From the previous comments about his bad attitude, I would say they are spot on. Rather do business elsewhere and vote with your wallet.
Upholsterers employed there simply cannot work without supervision, and the owner simply can not supervise. Take one: First they sew everything skew, worse than a blind person, wrapping it up nicely to conceal the mess, owner oblivious to everything. Take two: This time they redo it, getting it right, but forgetting to screw back important parts. Again nicely wrapped, owner oblivious of mistake, customer goes home hoping THIS TIME owner did check all on behalf of blind upholsterer. Not to be.. Take three : Customer takes it back and offers to oversee the operation on behalf of owner. Owner gives him an indignant look and declares :"If I have to check each job, I might as well close my doors". Really??? If you don't, upskill your staff or you will anyway ,son...! Talk about attitude, this customer will be happy to check regularly if said owner has indeed closed his doors yet, I will not be back for business though due to high prices, poor supervision and even poorer attitude. Not willing to accept nor pay for poor service or workmanship anymore!!!
Fine Furnishers upholstered an old wing back chair of mine and it looks better than one that I could buy new!! Thank you for your amazing work and service!! I'll definitely purchase more things from you in the future!!
Arrived as they were closing but we were still served and were shown various materials suitable for recovering recliner. It was arranged when the chair would b collected but they phoned to say they would only collect the chair a week later, so we were kept informed.
The black lady working there is a ray of sunshine, very helpful, and polite. The white guy on the other hand is arrogant, snobbish, and rude. They've got nice things, but if that's how you want to treat people, I'm sure as hell not going to support your shop

You might as well buy brand new furniture - their prices are repulsive!!
