Sketchers

Called in the shop today looking for a shoe, using the SKU number which i assume was a universal product identity number, wow the rudeness of the lady who took my call was epic. Wouldn't recommend this shop if one expects to be treated with respect and professionally. I asked the lady if I could give her the SKU number with an assumption that it’s the shoe’s universal identity number. just as I was calling the number to her, she rudely asked for the color. Tried to explain that the number I am trying to give her is not yet called in full. I mentioned to her that I called other sketchers shops and gave them this number and they were able to assist me. Rudely she told me that I am now telling her how to do her job, once again I tried to explain that the number was not yet called in full when she asked me for the shoe color. She said am I testing her or what. Because I really want this shoe, I had to humble myself and explain where I got this number so she could help me, once again she went on telling me that the is no such number and yaaaa. I asked if she could be patient with me and explain how things work if I want the shoe again, she was all talks even spoke over me as I was begging for her patience. I then asked if there is an anyone in the shop who can help me, she said there is no one. I then told her that it’s ok I will call other shops.

I purchased a pair of Sketchers on 24/12/2022. A week later the inner soles shift while I am walking. Unbelievable especially since a person pays almost R1500 for quality that is clearly lacking. I am very dissatisfied.

14day return policy is not an industry standard. It is not clarified when making a purchase. The subsequent treatment of my 88 year old mom trying to exchange a Xmas present purchased from this store on the 24/12/2021, was deplorable. She is now stuck with R1400 sneakers she cannot wear. The online store has a 30DAY return policy and REFUND. This store and Sketchers will never again see my or my families business again.

Disgusting service to my 88 year old grandmother. They were extremely rude to her until more people walked into the store. Appalling doesn't even begin to describe their service.
