Great experience with a great selection of food. Had an opportunity to have a shower before my flight which was excellent. If only Lanseria slow lounge can match up
The best SLOW lounge in the country. About as small as Lanseria but delivers Johannesburg level service, far better than Cape Town. Staff are super friendly and constantly looking for ways to be helpful. Food is better than the other three by far. Menu selection is admirable given the small size and the quality remains as high as elsewhere. Definitely worth the visit.
It’s a really nice place to relax and have some refreshments. The variety of snacks were lovely though the wait for certain dishes that finished to be replaced took a bit of time. The lounge itself could do with an aircon as I found it to be quite hot and stuffy. Lines to use the restroom can grow long during peak time so keep that in mind. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Its always a pleasure visiting any SLOW Lounge, and the SLOW Lounge at King Shaka Int Airport is no exception. From the front desk to cleaning staff you are treated to the best service imaginable. The food is always well prepared and displayed. The beverages are hot and cold to your needs. I always look forward to visitng SLOW Lounge.

All FNB SLOW lounges come with their own layout and quirks. This lounge feels a little too cramped in the back of the lounge environment at King Shaka, somehow its more relaxing to be at the Lanseria SLOW lounge. Nothing wrong with the hospitality. Great ambience and wonderful staff.
I absolutely LOVE the Slow Lounge @ King Shaka international airport!! Always welcoming!! Food spread is delicious!! Service is wonderful!! Enough reading material to kill time in a relaxing enviroment. Love it!!!
SLOW has revitalized my emotional connection with flying. I am more excited about spending 90 minutes in a comfortable armchair with delicious snacks, a fresh coffee, and a book than I am about the 55 minute flight to follow.
Great place to stop before your flight to get some work done or grab a quick bite to eat The service was amazing Highly recommend using this lounge
It’s always great to relax in the slow lounge before a flight. The Durban slow lounge is a bit smaller. The service of the staff at the lounges is always on point!
