Smile Gallery Dr. Lorandi Kruger Dentist

My daughter had an appointment. At he first appointment the Dr told her that she had a few holes to fill and that she would need another appointment. After they sent us a statement for the 1st appointment, our Medical insurance did not want to accept the statement and wanted a complete invoice. When we kindly asked for an invoice, we received a very cocky response, saying that all other medical aids accept their statements and that they won't give us an invoice for us to be able to claim back from our medical insurance. Our previous dentist in Meyerton was accommodating and gave us invoices for our visits.

My husband and I had an awesome experience with Dr. Nakampe we went for teeth cleaning. She was very friendly and extremely professional with how she performed the procedure. There was no pain at all I was completely amazed because I have had other dentists hurt me with teeth cleaning. After the cleaning she explains to you the condition that your teeth are in and what to do to keep it well maintained which i personally appreciate. We will definitely return later this year for our regular teeth cleaning. Thank you Dr Nakampe and the Smile Gallery team for the awesome service!

Whole family went to Dentist today. Reception ladies were great, very helpful and friendly. Dr was patient with our sons first dentist visit. Had the most amazing dental clean as-well. Will def highly recommend! Lovely clean and modern environment.

I visited Smile Galary today and wanted to check in on the review platform. Reading through recent posted reviews, I felt like sharing my story that differs quite drastically from all the negative feedback. Dr Nakampe has been my dentist for a few years now since I relocated to the Vaal in 2015 and had to build up not just new friendships but also new relationships with medical practitioners. I had the privilege to work with Dr Nakampe for a while and was really impressed with the way she always wanted to help and doing it with such grace and ease. Being a dentist is one of the most difficult crafts available within the medical field. It is having to work inside someone's mouth that already is an uncomfortable place to start with. People complain and talk about being butchered, but have you even tried flossing your own teeth without hassle? The angle just never seems right, yet a densit makes it work. So I take my hat off to them! But getting back to Dr Nakampe, she is one of those I will take my hat off and hang my coat up. She is just that good. I think of her as my friend and not just my dentist. I think of her as my mentor, not just my dentist. I would even recommend her to children in need of some dental assistance as her soft skills are impeccable. @Reception, you are also appreciated as you were strict, yet kind... firm with the practice and its procedures, yet friendly and understanding. Qualities that contribute enormously to the team! So thank you too! I am quite emotionally invested when I say, I love you all!!

I was in shamble and dismayed by the treatment we got from Dr Lorandi Kruger yesterday on the 12/05/2022.Me and my daughter had appointment with Dr Nakampe while we were waiting in the reception we realized that we forgot the Wi-Fi router at home so me and my sister asked Dr Kruger if we can get their Wi-Fi password and she boldly said "No we can't it is only for the staff unfortunately we are not running an internet cafe if you want internet connection you can go to internet cafe" then she banged her door on us I am still digesting her words even now!! As for Dr Nakampe I am very happy with the treatment we got from her she was so patient with both of us my daughter was scared when we entered the consultation room but she was very good with her, she ended up relaxing and smiling. Thank you Dr Nakampe you very good with kids. It was okay that we were made aware that we were supposed to switch off our cell phones and that they will not be able to offer us the Wi-Fi password but my concern is the attitude it was communicated to us it was very rude and I just got finished off by the response of the review, we still have a long way to go shame.

I got referred by numerous previous patients of Dr Kruger. I could not get an appointment with her but I got an appointment with her partner Dr Nakampe. I went for my appointment with her and I’ve never been to such an unqualified dentist to my liking. I went for a fill and had pain up in my cheekbone for 2 days. Secondly, she had to remove a wisdom tooth as I have booked and she said no I must book with Dr Kruger and if I’m not happy I should go for a second opinion. Dr Nakampe was cold and I felt traumatized after my fill. I did go for a second opinion at EXP/Medicross at Dr Schnetler. He was brilliant and friendly, so was his assistant. He took ex rays walked me through as to why he would recommend me to a specialist. He wrote me a reference letter to a maxillofacial & oral surgeon and followed up to see if I came right. He then afterwards gave me an emergency appointment to accommodate my surgery. I did not go for my appointment at Dr Kruger and today I got an invoice for R1000 due to the fact that I did not go to my appointment. I would not recommend this practice to anybody. Their staff is rude and think they doing you a favor and not a service that you are paying for. The service fee of a missed appointment is unacceptable and I will continue to vocalize about my overall experience with The smile gallery.

This "family" dentist does not feel anything for their patients. My 6 year old daughter had a dental filling done and had pain for 3 days. When I called for an emergency appointment they said I must bring her in at a time wich we could not meet because my husband could not get off work that early. At our first appointment we were asked to rush an hour earlier to our appointment to accommodate them. We did so because we wanted to help. But when I asked can they PLEASE help my 6 year old daughter at the time when my husband can get off, they said they can't help because it is DR. Lorandi Kruger's birthday and they will not help at that time. For a dentist to not care about a 6 year old girl that is in pain after she was at the same dentist, is very poor care for her patients. Personally I would have made a plan and not be rude about it. Especially after that same patient was accommodating to her at the first appointment. Will never use this dentist again!!!!!

Had an appointment with Dr Nakampe. Felt butchered afterwards with multiple cuts to my lips and gums that could have been avoided by working with more tact and sensitivity. The needle and numbing process was honestly the worst experience that I have had at a dentist. Even after explaining that I have an intense fear of needles due to past trauma. It was my first time using them after being referred to them by a family member, but I can't extend the referral as I was not satisfied. The cold bedside manner, minimal empathy and harsh in-chair treatment makes it feel like they are only in it for the money and to push as many patients through the door as possible, client perception be damned.

The best experience.The Dr.Lorandi is friendly and she makes going to the dentist a great experience.All the staff is friendly and helpful.
