My GO TO for hair. Danielle is my GIRL, she really delivers the most incredible hair experience and hair color. I needed someone new to commit to, I was very hesitant of finding someone to take care of my unique color but I have to admit that I can’t see myself with anyone else now. She’s incredible. The staff is so sweet and patient and kind. Only the best vibes here.

SO GLAD I went here for a color correction!!! I had a nasty terribad bleach balayage from another salon that Jenn fixed like magic!!! Small but very clean and organized salon. Jenn and kate do amazing amazing work and are so kind. Jenn took her sweet time meticulously working on my new balayage, and I so appreciate her taking the time and putting pride in her work. You will not be disappointed! Kate and Jenn really put their love and passion into all their appointments. This is my new hair home and I am not turning back! Katie is the best! She always does an amazing job on my hair. It’s rare to find someone extremely talented in both coloring & cutting/styling. She is also great at listening to my hair goals, and has a gift for for making suggestions that turn out to be amazing. Highly recommended!

Completely disappointed. The reviews were great and I expected, at least, a good color job. The place is not very comfy, the treatment was correct not super nice.... But I asked for a golden balayage, I was clear not too light, and now my hair is almost white with a brown spot on the roots! I thought it was a make-up stain... Sadly it was not... Definetly overpriced, this is not a $300 job. :Services: Haircut

Katie is the best. I have been coming to her for years and she took my naturally dark brown hair to a honey blonde! She is super laid back but uses all of the best top shelf products! Gives a great cut as well and always finishes with a blowout and amazing curl/waves!

Average and overpriced. Christine did my hair and it was ok, the cut and color are nice but the color work on the roots is awful. It looks like I have new regrowth, the whole purpose of coming in was to blend that away. If it were a cheaper job I wouldn't complain but for over +$300 it's really ridiculous. I'm so happy with Christina at Sophistikate. She gave me the awesome layered cut I'm been asking for from other Hoboken salons, but never got. She also gave me a beautiful blonde partial highlight that I love. I've tried many Hoboken salons, and am finally happy here. The place is very friendly and comfortable with nice people. The price is inexpensive considering their quality stylists and great products they use.
