This spar has a lot of potential, but it isnt 100%. The floors were sadly very dirty, and around the 2l cold drinks was a rather dismall smell for an area of about 6m. There was some leaked cold drinks and staff were at a loss for words when I asked them where I can clean my hands. Its a fine spar, but the smell can improve and staff needs to have a bit more interest in helping customers, as they seem a bit "la de da". Their variety and merchandising of energy drinks however is a full 10/10!
Having visited this branch on numerous occasions in the past it is now very obvious I could find parking in front of the store, where in the past had to park a distance from the shop. I wanted to warm up some snacks, the microwave was disgustingly dirty outside and even worse inside. Asked staff to please provide me with a cloth to clean it myself response was dont have one. Asked to see manager but was told manager not available. Hope the other customers that also warm their food don't get upset stomachs tonight!!
I have been going to this shop for a very long time, everything was up to standard. But the quality of fresh foods and some manufactured foods has dropped dramatically. It's almost like they are selling old stock.
I struggle to understand why this Spar in Montana is more expensive with some items than any other Spar store. This weekend I paid R24,99 for a Monster energy drink where at any other Spar it costs R 17,99. This is really sad.
After buying tickets online, TicketPro's online map directed me to Montana Superspar. Got there and read TicketPro signs all over at the cigarette counter. Even a sign that clearly says, "Get your tickets here." Yet rude George, the manager, insists that he does not and has NEVER provided TicketPro tickets. I thought I was dreaming.
So far in the last week, I have bought multiple times only to find that the price on the shelf compared to on the system is completely different!! And this is with more than one item!!

Some people working at tills just need to work on their communication skills but otherwise a good experience and fresh produce
I'm so disappointed, I bought a tart and expected a tart, but got a cake with a little bit of topping of the tart. If I wanted a cake, I would have bought one.
Meat counter . Good and reasonable. A good place for your monthly groceries. This Superspar meets all the standards of a big Superspar franchisee and more. I took a few photos to show what i mean.
