We had an amazing time with Sport Helicopter. We chose and paid online for “The Hopper 12 mins flight + Complimentary 30 minutes boat cruise”. We honestly enjoyed both of them. The captain was kind and friendly. The whole team was cheerful and supportive. + you can park your car in front of their office free of charge I would really recommend this adventure. Keep in mind that both activities +waiting time for cruise took us ~ 3 hours. Due to the cruise timing’s availability we had a 1.5 hour gap where we had our breakfast :
We have the bestest experience starting from the reception Nats was so warm and welcoming and when it came to flying Allan was so adventurous he is a great pilot and his service was amazing. Hope to do this again and again
Awesome Flight With you guys. The staff was super friendly and professional. The Pilot was great as well, made some jokes to Break nervousness. He showed us the important spots of Cape Town and answered all our questions. It was our best desicion to Choose you guys! Keep it up
Great experience. Thanks to the whole Sports helicopter team. We had a great pilot! And lots of fun - even were able to spot some whales. There were a couple of very young pilots in the making - would love to come back to see you fly that helicopter
This is a must to have if you visit cape town.. we had an unforgettable flight, our pilot a french speaker, lucky we are helped us to discover the city and surroundings that's was very helpful for the rest of our journey. The whole team was so nice and helpful. I strongly recommend , the experience surely worth to the price you pay
Had a great experience!! It was my first time on a helicopter and the whole team made us feel at ease. All of the team is professional and most importantly the pilot. Cape Town is the place to do this and Sport Helicopter Rides are the go to guys.
What an experience!! Really sweet people, they have a nice fleet, went on the same helicopter they had for Vietnam War, was really impressed, had a really fun time, highly recommend if you are in a group.
Wow! What an awesome experience. I've lived in Cape Town all my life and I've never experienced it like this. The crew were also very friendly and professional. Thanks to the pilot, Sebastian, and the ground crew, Mannie, Gayline, Dennis and Melissa, for making our experience so amazing.
The flight itself was very good, and I don't regret it at all. The pilot pointed out about 4 things over the course of the 25min flight, in basic detail: "that's table Mountain" , "that's Hout Bay" etc . Also the views out the right hand side window weren't great unfortunately, but these were minor issues. The main reason for the lower rating is simply the hectic rushing around with all the staff rapidly trying to squeeze in as many customers as possible. We were told we would have our photos taken with the helicopter on landing, but this never happened due to the rush. We weren't even permitted 30 seconds on the airstrip to take our own photos before being put back in the minibus. This made it a stressful experience unfortunately.
