The overall experience was okay. Love the location of the restaurant corner store, well ventilated. It's been a while since I've been to spur and Santa Rosa did not disappoint in reminding of what I've been missing Spur ribs. I always go for the cheesy garlic prawns, my favorite starter dish of all times at Spur. I enjoyed the food, it was well prepared, thank you.

My son had so much fun here! Staff are friendly and the playground supervisor is amazing! You can see she truly loves kids and takes care of them as if they were her own! Managed to actually eat at a restaurant with a toddler!

Had late lunch yesterday with the family. The service was very slow but the waiter was nice so it made it bearable.  My wife and I shared a plate of ribs and wings combo and we have been up since 4am with stomach bug. We know it is the food because My wife did not eat anything yesterday just that meal and the kids ate something different and they are fine. This ruined our day today as we have been dealing with runny tummy and vomiting.  This is unacceptable.

Great food and service was good too!

I remember a Goodie burger being bloody good years ago. Took my family for a burger I used to love. Patties were dry and hard. Waiter forgot totally about the mushroom sauce. Sat forever waiting for a bill so decided to go to the front desk as our waiter was nowhere to be found. By the time a staff member actually got to the front they couldn't find a card machine. Restaurant wasn't even busy. Sad sad sad.

I have to say I'm highly disappointed in this spur, food is terrible and then half the order wasn't there, buffalo wings doesn't have any meat on !!!!  I'm highly disgusted to pay those prices and barely has meat on the bone. Could of spend my money much wiser in this regard if I knew I was getting samples as a main course ,I recommend that the owner rather close his doors.  Seeing that most people are complaining about this specific Spur in Jean Ave

It's always a pleasure when going to dineout at restaurants or other places that make food that is proudly South African  its comfortable and convenient for us South Africans because you get to order a variety of food. And during the week Spur has specials for every single day so that's really cool also.Food: 4/5

After some issues a over the weekend, the Owner did call back to find out exactly what happened. Really excellent follow ups in ensuring customers are cared for. Thanks Johan for the great work.Food: 3/5

The experience was bad with the waiter that apperently just started to work there. We waited longer than 20 min just for our drinks and another 20 min for our starters. We have entered just before 11:00 and by 12:30 we haven't received our main cour3
