St John Eye Clinic - Woodstock

Eye clinic is fantastic, had my glasses done etc a year ago , hubby went yesterday. Service was excellent, place was clean and best of all prices are fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The overall building has been given a modern facelift and upgrade to fall in line with ongoing gentrification in the Woodstock area. The eye care clinic has now moved to a better and sophisticated ground floor level further down the block. Just wish they would have had a notice at their old entrance directing us as clients to their new entrance. As to the cost of the visit, you will have to decide if it's reasonable.

I really liked the idea of making an appointment and you are seen to at that time. The receptionist was most helpful. The place is on the main road and parking is a little bit of an issue.

They are cheaters. I paid R150 for an eye test for my daughter. The quote for the specs was almost R2000 and I asked for my script which I had paid for. I will also mention that the frame I chose was the least expensive available. They said I must pay an extra R100 for it. I don't recommend them to anybody at all. St. John's used to offer a service for those who could not afford the high prices and for the citizens who do not have medical aid. They don't deserve the one star rating but a zero. They are expensive with their frames and prescriptions. Don't go there.

The Eye Clinic staff were friendly and helpful. The prices for eye test and spectacles are very competitive compared to normal optometrists. Thank you Kauthar for your amazing service , and to the two gentlemen

No communication regarding my spectacles. Wasn't informed when they closed or open and I've done much eye test before they closed

St Johns Eye Clinic has a new office, just next door. The service is very professional and the people in the clinic are wonderfully helpful. My new glasses will give me a whole new lease on life. Thank you St Johns.
