Great pool with the friendliest staff. Lots of grass to sit on and a few shaded areas...

Clean pool and many attendants.... however, you should implement swimming in appropriate swimwear..... it will definitely help with the water as well.
The Pool is open from 06:00 am till 20:30 pm from monday to Friday every single day , beside Saturday and Sundays it's open from 06:00 am till 16:30 pm
Absolutely enjoyable, fun for the family on a budget ... picnic bags allowed .
Best public pool with an entrance fee.. That's affordable if you swimming regular. very clean experience.
Tops. Pool is super clean.
Family friendly public swimming pool. Quite safe and has safe parking with a friendly car guard available. There are 2 pools one of which is for adults and older kids with a 2m depth for the "deep" end and one is a splash pool with a fountain for babies. There are life guards however the onus is on the parent/s to keep an eye on their children in an environment where there is water + young kids. Carry a picnic basket although there is an on-site tuck shop for chips cool drinks and ice cream. Carry a beach umbrella and a beach blanket and some sunscreen for a day of fun.
Great pool and safe
Today they were cleaning the pool with sunlight detergent whilst children were in the pool. The manager n cleaner were very aggressive and refused to stop the cleaning even though children were playing. We literally had to take the kids out the pool. Why the maintenance can't be done after or before hours. I wonder if the health department will condone such behaviour from the management..utterly disappointed with management ..I wish there was a minus star ..
Sunford Primary had our swimming gala, at Stanmore pool on the 27/3/2018. We had a very good experience. The pool was clean and sparkling. The staff were helpful and courteous. All the infrastructure was set up and working. The only hiccup was that the key to one of the rooms was unavailable. On the whole we had an excellent experience.
This rating is not for the condition of the pool and pool area since I didn't even get a chance to see that, rather this rating is for the staff itself. I went there obviously with the intention of swimming but was met at the gate by a few workers who gave me no reply when I greeted them with a 'Hello, how are you'. All I got from one of them was 'The pool is closed.' This already left me a little confused as on the site of Stanmore Swimming Pool and here on Google Maps, it is indicated that the pool is open. So I asked how is that and why, and was replied to in a very nasty tone, telling me that 'the lifeguard is not here'. I would then expect a bit more information on when he/she would be here or if they're even going to be here at all but got nothing else. I stayed polite, and didn't make a problem even though I was already quite put off by their attitudes and tones. I waited for a bit in hopes that the lifeguard would show up but 15mins or so later, nothing. About 20mins in, 3 guys showed up, perfectly polite, went up to the gate and GREETED. No reply from the workers. This seemed to already make the guy uncomfortable so he inquired if the pool is closed today. A worker, again in that same arrogant and nasty tone spat out 'The pool is closed? Are you asking me or telling me?' At this point I was seething mad and against my better judgement as I knew it wouldn't make much of a difference, I still woke up and went to the gate. All I did was say to the women that I don't understand why you have to be so rude and nasty towards people who are just asking about the situation of the pool being closed. Sure, we understand that the lifeguard isn't there, but why speak so rudely when me as well as those 3 guys were nothing but polite. It all went sideways then and one of the women began to raise her voice, not giving me a chance to talk while saying 'I said nothing to you ma'am, did I say anything wrong to you? What did I say?' I then said that I didn't accuse her or anyone of saying anything nasty to me, but rather the way in which I was spoken to. She then called a guy from the back, telling him there's a problem. This man tried to diffuse the situation and said that we should respect the lady as she is an elder and children come here being very rude. I said yes, I can understand that, but in no way was I rude when I spoke to her or anyone else, neither were those 3 guys. So why be rude to us? He also said that they come along and don't greet or anything, but the first thing me, along with the other guy did when coming up to the gate was GREET, but we got NO REPLY. Just cold looks and nasty tones. He then proceeded to instruct me to go back to where I was sitting while moving away from my view. I will admit, I snapped then and there and let a few swear words fly before walking away but I could not help myself. It was just an all around bad service.
