State Theatre

Hosts the most spectacular shows.. Went for a comedy show. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Rubbed shoulders with the great people in the entertainment business. I was not impressed with their drinks, they weren’t cold almost like they didn’t prepare for the event.

Went to watch the nutcracker. Beautiful. The auditorium was clean and well maintained. The bar/snack area was disappointing. There was only alcohol left during the intermission. No soft drinks or water. This area did not appear as well maintained as the theatre areas.

It's always a pleasure to be at the State Theater even though I haven't been there since Covid. They should just improve the bar/kiosk and add a selection of more variety of beverages not everyone drinks "Savannah and Coke" and at least small packs of sweets just to mention a few, otherwise it was all good. Thanx

Great theatre... watched the ballet this last weekend, so worth while. Staff is ever so friendly, and the snacks and drinks are so cheap. Lighting, set up, stage, all phenomenal

The state theatre is still holding its own after all these years. Pro-tip is to get the balcony first row, nice view without being blocked by tall people and better leg room. Worth mentioning is that the parking machine for the tickets is cash only which is very old and impracticable.

An iconic building visually appealing both in and outside!! I love the arts and always feel blessed watching a show @ this iconic venue its a melting pot of creativity!! It never fails to appease my appetite for the visual or performing arts! Love it!! Lebu Ditsepu deliverd an energetic mesmerizing performance... simply spectacular!!

Nice however the fact that the city centre is dilapidated is not doing justice to the theatre. Still lots of improvement to be done and marketing within the Pretoria residents. A three is sufficient for now

Sjava Isibuko Tour was for the books enjoyed it by far
