It’s always a good time when I visit them. Their service is good and their cinema is very clean

I tried to reach out to Senior management at Ster Kinekor head office with regards to this matter. They did receive my messages and did not even bother to respond. My wife and I decided to take out the kids from the orphanage/home for displaced children in Nelspruit for a meal and a movie in December 2022. After Lunch I proceeded to pay for our tickets at Ster Kinekor in Illanga Mall and also purchased some drinks and popcorn with my credit card. We did manage to watch the movie without any issues but later when we came out, one of the kids realized that he had lost his jersey. We searched for it in the Ster Kinekor lobby without any success. He then retraced his steps back with another child, thinking he could have left it in the cinema. Prior to entering the cinema the children [ a boy and girl] told me that they mentioned to the supervisors that they lost the jersey and were given permission to look in the cinema. A short while later I followed them and found Nadine Wright the manager scolding the kids. I then asked her what was the problem and she told me that the kids watched a movie without paying. I then told her that she was making a false accusation and the kids were from the orphanage and I had paid for their tickets. She told me that she did not care if they were from the orphanage and demanded to see the tickets, which I then produced. I then told her that her behavior was unacceptable, and she then responded by threatening to call security. I have been in business for more than 38 years and this is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. A business/service provider making a false allegation on their clients [ we have been clients of Ster kinekor ever since I can remember and holders of your movieclub card since its inception] and when proof of payment is produced, to prove her wrong, threatening to call security instead of apologizing. In all these years I have never come across such an ill-trained and callous manager anywhere in the world. The supervisors at the cinema whom I had dealt with previously came across as better educated, refined and polite. We are people of color and this behavior is a clear indicator that this manager is racist. I also speak to the lady in charge of this children’s home the following day and she said that the children were traumatized. She confirmed that prior to my arrival Nadine Wright had also threatened the kids to call security to deal with them. They were scared, intimidated, and humiliated by this unwarranted behavior from Nadine Wright. I have some nice pictures of the happy times we spent with these kids prior to arriving to Ster Kinekor. Unfortunately, we departed your cinema with a nasty, sour, and unwelcome feeling and we don’t think we will be back again.
Wow 3D prestige is Excelente can't complain about anything so far, but next time, ain't gonna buy those extras, just gonna stick to my ticket. Imagine R100 for , chocolate and juice .
Really enjoy watching movies here. Last time I visited we had a little bit of an issue with the projector lights not working, so our theater screen was off, reported it and the manager and the guy were very helpful. Manager came to sit and keep us company in the theater while the light was being replaced. In no time all was good and we enjoyed the movie. Big ups to the guy and to the manager for the friendly service. you're amazing!
It was good and nice place to relax the staff was so friendly i can recomend that its a good place indeed
Cinema prive supposed to be much more upmarket but staff confused where we can get our online tickets printed. Had to go and stand in line one of the reasons why we book online is to not stand in a line. Staff said we could get snacks at the theater, but there was no staff member there. Definitely not a " special" feeling like it was supposed to be.
Kids day out kinda thing and they all enjoyed every moment
