Strand Indoor Pools

I haven't been to the pool in 15years+. Took my kids for the first time today. So disappointing. No one is wearing swimming caps anymore for hygienic reasons. Water was very cold and the pools not clean. It was full of sand and water looked dirty. Lifeguards also played and wasn't professional.

Beautiful new murals at Strand pool. Very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

What a joy. Never over crowded.

Good for exercising but not to spend a day. We use it for ditching with cabin crew and that is ideal. Staff very helpful and friendly

Nice pool but it is awfully cold apparently 17 degrees Celsius as the heaters are off due to "maintenance" that seems to have been ongoing for many, many months. Yet, the entry price remains the same. Most lane dividers are missing and the facility could do with an upgrade. The bathrooms and changing rooms are wide open right next to the pool, so a bit of a funky smell in the pool room.

Lovely clean pools. Water was warm eish! The lifeguards were sweet when spoken too. I prefer whe it is quieter.

Very expensive, water was ice cold. Most people there were family members of municipal workers. All there for free. I had to pay over R70 for me and two small kids.
