Sun Meropa Hotel

Used to prefer the place as I travel for business and its close to my meeting places. Tonight I went to the restaurant as usual only to find warm drinks and a bug suspect a small cockroach in my salad. Will not be staying here again.Rooms: 1/5

I had a great and peaceful stay, enjoyed my breakfast. Thank you to Mam'Maria for your warm morning welcomes and your all your Greatness. And thank you to all the Ladies looking after the breakfast dinning area for your assistance and keeping everything fresh. Thank you to Dineo, Nhlanhla by the reception area, the Security Gentlemen, the House keeping and everyone for making our stays a pleasant one.

Deneo, Maria and many others staff! You all showed service on lelvels this weekend. From getting my car washed, to having my breakfast how i asked for it. THANK YOU. This place is definitely not the same anymore! I booked here because it used to be decent, this time around I was so disappointed, the rooms drains through the sinks smell has gotten worse! There still drinking water is not nice, the breakfast is just poor or maybe it's the plates bad smell that puts you off! This was unfortunately our last stay at Meropa until they can sort out their issues. Rooms: Rooms are not bad, it's the awful smell coming from the drains that's bad!

The rooms are very pretty I must say, the look is amazing and it really is clean there is no water bottle in the room so a person has to bring or drink tap water. They have a nice selection of tea. There is no milk either in the rooms. The service was not bad however no one smilesRooms: 3/5

Purchased food from the Marimba restaurant. Kindly requested that my food gets dropped in my room, instead my food went missing. It seems restaurant staff stolen my food. No drinking water supplied in the rooms. The smell of the carpets almost unbearable.Rooms: 3/5

I have never used not entered the rooms. The place is beautiful and have variety of halls for different functions.Service: 3/5

Spent 20min in the restaurant and never got served. Had to walk out and travel 20km to Mall of the North to get dinner. No manager on duty. Staff would not give me the managers number either. I suggest you stay far away from the hotel. There are hundreds of places that want customers.Rooms: 1/5

Way too pricey for the current standards. Patched up bedlinen see photos. No shower gel, shampoo etc, and incredibly no hot water in the morning! The less said about the quality of the food in the restaurant the better very limited menu by the way. Torn upholstery and not properly washed wine glasses. The menu prices are very upmarket though and the paper napkins are exquisite!
