Sunset Beach Lodge & Spa

This was the best experience I have had in Mosambique! The service is great and the food is amazing. There is a beautiful ocean view with easy access to the beach. The swimming pool is great and the locals are so friendly. Food & drinks: The food is amazing and there is a great bar. You must try the seafood pasta, it is my favourite.

Really enjoy staying at the lodge, staff are always friendly and helpful, special thanks to Julietta who went above and beyond not only for us but everyone she had to assist, amazing lady. Both dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Room was comfortable and clean. Fantastic ocean views from the deck and a great spot to have drinks and a meal. Nice clean pool and if you are up to some exercise the enjoy a walk down to the beach, it's quite a steep slope and there are plenty of stairs to work up a thirst for those lovely cold beers when you get back. Was not our first visit to Sunset and it won't be the last. Congratulations to the staff and management for a job well done, keep up the good work

We thoroughly enjoyed our camping stay at Sunset Beach Resort. We camped under a cazito named Carapau. What a great idea. Endless shade, feet in the sand, lighting, outdoor kitchen and ensuite toilet, with a crispy clean bathroom next door. What a great idea. The sea view from the deck and pool is beautiful. The seafood platter was delicious and great value for fresh well prepared seafood. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wish we could stay longer. We will be back!!

Good location but place has lots of former glory. Lots of maintenance issues, overpriced excursions, pretty good food but poor service. Rooms: Casa 1 has a nice view, but has a small bed that conks on the middle. No mosquito nets. Nearby activities: Great nearby activities, including snorkeling

Always a pleasure coming here. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Best food in the area , do try out the prawns and chips which is my favourite. Thank you to the friendly and helpfull staff.Rooms: 5/5

I have always wanted to visit Mozambique. Doing so while staying at Sunset was a dream come true. Sunset Beach Resort has exceeded all of my expectations with its friendly staff, beautiful scenery inside and outside as well as the variety of activities available in and around the resort. Sunset Beach Resort makes for a perfect stay. They will definitely be seeing me again!
