Sunsquare Cape Town City Bowl

Had a good time on my arrival. My last night experience was that my room was not ready until 5pm and even then it was not properly cleaned. Someone was sent to rectify that. Ultimately a Manager sent an apology letter and a gesture. Other than that, it's a nice place and staff members are professional and have humility.

Had a perfectly divine time. The view from the Rooftop bar was spectacular. Interior design was perfect. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. 100/100. Thank you!

Decent rooms with workstations, but no additional bathroom amenities e.g. shower caps and no teaspoons in rooms only stirring sticks. No shuttle services available. Restaurant offered a satisfactory menu with decent meals. The only smoking area is outside the entrance or the bar area, which offered some superb views.Rooms: 3/5

Me and my friend highly enjoyed our stay at the SunSquare Hotel. The location is perfect for trips around the city, and it’s close to Bree street where you can find many cafes/restaurants/bars. The gym had a perfect view and the breakfast is very very delicious. I usually don’t like buffet style, however here the variety of the breakfast offerings was very good. We stayed for 8 nights. The view from the rooftop is just amazing! Definitely a place to stay! Thank you - the team has been lovely and excellent!

Stayed a week. Lovely hotel but the reception staff, except one lady, are rude and unfriendly. They looked so angry. When checking out the reception staff member on duty did not know I understood their local language and proceesed to talk about me with her colleague. Very unprofessional. Food & drinks: Ribs were good. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful

Siya and staff worked very hard with some extremely difficult customers to contend with on a busy night. I have to commend them to the management on their professionalism and calmness. The food was excellent but I reserve 5 stars because although the staff worked tirelessly I felt they needed some training to help them. All the staff from reception to porters and housekeeping were excellent and a credit to SunSquare! Keep it up!

Staff were lovely. Lady at reception wonderful and was our personal Zomato. House keeping manager always goes around checking all rooms everyday to check the cleanliness. perfect location. The buffet food had a bit of cross contamination. Not enough spoons or tongs for each plate/container. You would have to use the same tong to pick up different items of food.

What a beautiful hotel , situated in the City bowl close to all popular restaurants and spots. The breakfast was really good . We will definitely be back Rooms: 5/5

Had a great experience the hotel is good beside the bar area that is always fully packed during the because it's accessible to everyone, it should be kept private for people who has bookings for a stay.Rooms: 5/5

Hotel management decided to locate us the room just under the hotelbar. We suffered sound nuisance in the night and morning. On our request we changed rooms. The price difference we booked an executive room initially was promised to be refunded. It is 3 months later now and I am still waiting for my money. Employees do not react on my emails. Really bad guest service. What a show.
