I am absolutely and completely disappointed by the service of American Swiss Sandton City and the overall quality of the products from American Swiss. My fiancé bought me a gold chain from them which broke ON THE SAME DAY for no apparent reason as it was treated with care. As it was still under warranty, we took it back the day after to be fixed. We received it back today, and suprise suprise, it broke again as I was putting it around my neck. I have phoned them 4 times during working hours with no answer.

I have been trying to call everyday since Monday and no one answers the phone. Called the Rosebank branch and they were able to assist in a friendly and professional manner. My business is going there

I bought my girlfriend a tennis bracelet. It needed to be resized, I asked American Swiss to do it, they tried to charge me R1'000 to have it have just 2 links removed. I ended up taking it to another jeweller who did it for alot less. They customer service is ridiculous.

I have had really great experiences at American Swiss Sandton City. Yolan and his team are always so accomodating and helpful. I bought my fiancés engagement ring from them in December and Yolan assisted me with an amazing deal and service. I made another purchase today and was given another amazing deal and service. I would also like to acknowledge his team, they are always so friendly and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend this store and will definitely purchase again!

What pathetic service. Staff are rude and unhelpful over the phone and in person. Staff lied to my fiance when he went to buy my engagement ring telling him that it can be resized and now telling me that they cannot resize to fit my finger oh and not to mention the resizing price going up from 200 rand to 450 rand-- what a joke. I now have an overpriced paperweight that is completely useless to me. But I will definatley never spend another cent at any American Swiss store. The owners and managers of this store and franchise should be ashamed that they have hired such incompetent staff. I will be escalating this as far as possible.

If I could give them less than one star I would. The staff refused to even acknowledge my existence when I walked in. Way to busy on cellphones. When they finally offered to assist, I was given incorrect pricing and details about the rings I was looking at. It’s a good thing Sandton has so many jewelry stores.

Worst service ever! Twice! Sent my ring for polishing and fixing it took 2 months of sending me back and forth. Now the worst...I wanted an extra band a month before my wedding, after 3 weeks of constant phone calls with no answering, I went there only to find that my request is just sitting and waiting and thier excuse was thier phones were not working and could go ajead without my approval! But never contacted me! My wedding is in 2 weeks! GOSH!!!!

Wanted to buy the watch yesterday. The transaction went through but their till didn't showed it. I showed them that it was processed even called my bank to confirm it in front of them but their Manager didn't wanted to entertain it. She just didn't give a damn about the situation. Im ver disappointed with their service. Don't even bother to buy there

I received a call today from a staff member at American Swiss in Sandton City, the number she gave me to call her back on doesnt work. If I call the number from the original call it goes to Foschini and the person answering that phone has no idea Foschini and American Swiss are linked. I was then put through to Sterns who also couldnt help me. Very frustrating and will result in me not using your store again as I have to now get in my car and drive all the way to the shop itself.

My daughter has a card that is linked to my account. She went to make a purchase just to be told that she was unable to with her Dual American Swiss card, despite her using the same card in other outlets the same day and day before. The staff were very rude, and uncooperative.
