Telkom (8.ta)

Came in and got serve by a consultant called Musa for a sim swap, he said the number can’t be recalled and he’s putting a call to the technical department. It’s been two weeks and no one can see the call he placed. His attitude was also not one to foster a recommendation to someone trying to swap to Telkom or use this store for service.

After receiving no email response, I thought I would pay the store a visit. Absolute waste of time as they couldn't assist me either, as they had to scan the ID document of the account holder as verification. Since I was there on behalf of my mother, I didn't have it on me. I was told to PHONE Telkom... How the hell are they going to verify the ID then??? USELESS!!

I had the best experience I have ever had at a Telkom! Thank you Winnie. You are a rock star

Firstly this store has moved and is now closer to PnP. I visited this store twice and both my experiences were terrible. Staff are rude and look for every opportunity to see you out the door instead of making sure all your queries or needs have been met. Never going to use or associate myself with Telkom again!

They helped us politely. In efficient time as well but their phone stock and smart watch stock is poor

We have been experiencing problems with our fibre for 2 days now. Whenever we called the call centre, we kept being redirected to different departments but none of them provided any answers or assistance. We decided to go to the Telkom store at Centurion Mall and received terrible service. We were initially "assisted" by Musa Khosa who was at till 8 who didn't even wait to listen to what our issue was before he told us he couldn't help. When we asked why that was the case, he told us that we shouldn't argue with him because it doesnt help. He wouldn't listen to anything we said and was incredibly rude and dismissive. After dealing with Musa's incompetence, we asked to use the phone in the store so that we could AT LEAST speak to the call centre in front of a Telkom associate. Before we made the call, we were actually assisted by Siphiwe Mkhabela who listened to our issue and told us how to resolve it. He may not have been able to fix the problem himself but he gave us proper directions so we understood what was happening and how we could fix it within 24-48 hours. If he had helped us from the start, this would've been a 4/5 minimum. The fact that it's a 1/5 rating should tell you how completely unhelpful Musa was.

I am completely disillusioned with this shop. The agent that helped me was rude and did not help at all. Trying to call the shop is also useless....finally got through to the telephone operator - very friendly...I'll bump this up to a 3...lets see if they can assist me successfully.

I got the most amazing service from the staff there! The staff are very eager to assist with any query! Plus there was hardly a queue in the 2 days I went there, which is always a plus for a busy person like me! I highly recommend this Telkom - it's the best by far

telkom webisite is not helpfull and slow. and try to call this branch but no answer for 1 hour now. on the line as im typing this. also have no idea what is happening regarding my subscription no emailed me or tried to contact me. but if there is a possible sale then they are quick to respond!!!

Do not go in a hurry,general service can improve. Customer service is good,my sales guy01J did great.
