Had a beautiful weekend here, celebrated my birthday. Thank you to all the staff for creating such a nice and romantic stay for us. Breakfast buffet is truly something else. Thank you to your kitchen staff. Got a complimentary cake slice, Sphe our waiter was exceptional. However, the noise from other units is terrible. Thin walls. If something could be done about that, it would make all the difference. You can hear people moving up and down the stairs too. It was awful in the morning trying to sleep in.
I would rate the staff and service 100 out of 10 if I could. I can't remember when last if ever, I had received the service I did at the Thaba Eco Hotel. Everyone from the moment we walked into reception was unbelievably friendly, professional, and just very helpful. That in itself was a pleasant experience. Thank you all. Our golf cart driver was the same, and the staff at the restaurant too. I will most definitely go back for the stay, but the real treat is the staff.
What a lovely surprise! The hotel is well run and thoroughly clean. Staff are extremely polite and the service is world class. Apart from the Spa. Game drive and the pool there isn't much else to do which is perfect. You can just relax and take in nature in the beautiful surroundings. The Kraal restaurant is world class and every meal we ordered was devine and plated to perfection. If you are celebrating an occasion or just wanting to get away I will recommend the Thaba. You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic service received. Very neat, great food, location and staff. Feels like you are far removed from the city life without traveling the distance. Staff were very friendly and shuttled us between the Kraal restaurant, Spa and room. Very generous on adding extra value...from the complimentary daily stocked bar fridge with snacks, wine and drinks to the included breakfast value in our package. Will highly recommend for a breakaway to recharge. Rooms: Spacious and very neat. Heated floors and towel railings. Free Wifi in the rooms with airconditioning. Iron with ironing board, hairdryer and safe provided in the room. Nearby activities: We attended spa treatments, but I believe they offer game drives as well. There's also a big play area for small children if you choose the eat something outdoors at the restaurant, where you can watch them while eating or having a drink. Safety: Safe parking provided, behind 3 gates, where they also scan your drivers license and car license when entering and leaving. Food & drinks: Great value, complimentary bar fridge stocked daily. Generous portions of food served and flavourful dishes to choose from at the Kraal restaurant. Coffee and tea provided in the room as well.
The place is beautiful, it's up there Thaba. You either choose the restaurant side or the Ebar side you must book for the vip Ebar side. We didn't book and was sitting outside by the pool no complaints. When you feel cold they give you fleece blankets. Always checking up on us... loved it Food & drinks: The food was delicious, except the worst was not well done.
I love sitting by this pool. It's nice and tranquil since Thaba Ya Batswana is nestled amidst the green hills of the south of Johannesburg. It is opposite the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve and perfect for dining for lunch with friends after our hikes. We love the chocolate milkshake .
Everything here is top of the range, loved my stay here. I’m definitely coming back. The views the quietness, you’d think your far from Joburg Food & drinks: The restaurant here, The Kraal has really amazing food and the service is the greatest. Had a lovely meal here
it was raining but i still enjoyed being there. Bottomless sparkling wine while you wait for check in, you are being taken care of the moment you walk in. The hotel room was very spacious, you get a mini bar fridge filled with red and white wine, siders and beers, soft drinks and water; snacks and sweets and i was very impressed by that. The breakfast buffet was out of this world, very very nice with variety and a mimosa to top it up.
Beautiful facilities,I have found the staff to be extremely vibrant and helpful, I have walk the area and all staff would great with so much energy as if they are extremely excited yo see you,but the ones that seem to be in higher positions are not as energetic, I think they can take a lesson from guys cleaning and waiters and waitresses. Otherwise, 5 star indeed. Please just make sure generators work all the time.
After asking multiple times to fix the shower no hot or warm water it has not been done. Furniture is oldish and not well looked after. I would have expect much better from this place. Bedding quality is not up to expectations. The place looks good and clean but services is not that good.
