Quaint, French cafe theme, very nice coffee roast, breakfast special is well worth the visit

Tasty pies and breads available daily. Really enjoyed the freshly baked potato pie with a delicious helping of coleslaw and green salad. The sour dough bread was also good Quaint set up. Owner is very pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely stop by again. Went back on 30 March 2021. Received same friendly welcome. The Mediterranean veg quiche and potato pie was excellent. Coffee was also good.

This bakery is great! We sat and had a meal there for lunch. The homemade pies are very tasty! Breads are fantastic and the croissants are sooooo good.

Peter, the proprietor, is an essential part of the charm of Bread, as are the friendly staff. It serves the BEST breakfast in the area!

They had nothing much available for vegetarians. The crunchies were expensive but were not worth it at all.

What a lovely find. It is an old Victorian house that has been beautifully decorated. The food is superb. Quiches and pies, homemade lemonade, toasted sandwiches, but other items available with pre booking. The quiche pastry was perfect- light and crumbly. Also sells wonderful sourdough bread, cakes and pies to take home. Will definitely make a point of going here whenever I am in Durban.

There is a little coffee shop in Paris just off the Louvre called Lina's. Just like the cartoon Ratatouille, I was time-shifted back there today. Thank you Bread Cafe.
