The Barn at Redstone

My husband and I got married at the Barn at Redstone in April and WOW!! What an incredibly beautiful venue. We were blown away by the friendly staff, the delicious food, precision and expertise of Sarel and just the sheer beauty of the whole entire day. We couldn’t we more happy with our wedding day and honestly, not a single thing went wrong. We had the most perfect wedding at the most perfect venue. Would 100% recommend.

We had our wedding at barn@redstone 2 weeks ago. My husband & I highly recommend the venue, Sarel owner/wedding co ordnator is amazing, professional and organised to the finest detail! Our guests were just as impressed with the delicious food and onsite accommodation. Thank you for making our day unforgettable!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. There was not one thing that either myself or the guests could fault. Every detail was amazing, from everything running on schedule, the canapés, main meals, dessert, service at the bar. The food is 5 star - every course was simply amazing! Sarel was excellent in running everything and ensured every detail was on point.

We had our wedding at the venue, and perhaps we were just lucky but had the most beautiful day, perfect clear sunshine. The outside chapel looked fantastic and the sunset photo opportunities are next level. Sarel and his team were professional and on point, nothing went wrong. We could not have asked for better.

The Barn at Redstone is an amazing wedding venue with gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. Our wedding day was beautiful and we loved every minute of it. The food was super delicious and the staff service was great! Overall amazing wedding venue that I would highly recommend! Thank you to Sarel and his mom for the amazing day we had!

What an awesome venue ! We had our wedding there on the 25th of March 2023 and just wow everything was amazing ! From the planning , the management all the way to the food ! Everything was perfect ! Nothing was too much to ask for and Sarel did a fantastic job to make sure everything running smoothly ! Our guest enjoyed it so much that some of the guest even took their number by is as they want to arrange future events at the venue ! We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and how good the food was !!! Sarel baie baie dankie !! Ons is baie dankbaar !

The Barn @ Redstone is the most AMAZING wedding venue with the most welcoming, professional and helpful staff I have ever met. They made our wedding day very special. They went out of their way to ensure everything was and went perfectly. They went out of their way for us and our families. They helped with damage controll as their was some hiccups with our Flowers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Their accommodation are great and so clean and I love their decorating style. Their food are simply exceptional. Thank you so very much Sarel and your staff at The Barn @ Redstone you guys are awesome.

Great wedding venue, very rustic! But very very hot in summer. No shade and very little through breeze. Not ideal for heals, babies, kids or prams. Google directions will most likely get you lost. Follow directions to reds tone not to the barn.

Worst place I have ever stayed. Definitely not value for money. The room had a smell to it and was not very clean. We came out the room in the morning and saw that the new guests names are already stuck on our door. I asked, who I assume was the housekeeping manager, what time check out is, and her response was that we had to be out already because they have new guests coming in and they must clean the rooms. This was 8h30 in the morning!!! Normal check out at any other place is normally 10h00... no one told us that we should be out earlier. They don't care for their guests and if they say Breakfast is at 8h00 and you are late then it's too bad. We did not make it to breakfast in time and only got there at 8h50 but our friends that were there in time told the waiter that we are running a bit late and asked if they will be able to help us with a breakfast and He said yes. When we got to breakfast Sarel approached me and said that he EXPLICITLY told Me and my Husband the night before that breakfast is strictly at 8h00 as if I am a child that he is teaching a lesson. We have a 4 month old baby that only woke up at 8h00 so that is why we phoned our friend to ask them to dish a plate for us. nonetheless, we were late for breakfast so my complaint is not based on this but the way I was treated. All I can say is I am glad that we only stayed at the Barn for one night. The other guest house was half the price and double the value!
