Walk through the Quincy Market area and hang a right. Easy to get to. The clam chowder is still the best I’ve ever had! Average prices for the area think tourist prices in a big city. Recommend viewing the menu in advance. Didn’t pay the $10/pint prices but if you have it, go for it! The “chips” were really good, hamburger was average, chowder a must, chicken tenders were something I’d recommend especially if you have kids in your party because the portion was big. Most of the fare was heavy pub food but salads available. Bathrooms tight so be warned. Our server was pleasant and we didn’t wait long for food to arrive.

My husband wanted to try some Irish food while we're in Boston, so we checked this place out. We enjoyed the live music a lot and loved the vibe. Even though the restaurant seemed to be very busy at the time we're there, but the waitress was still very attentive and our food came out very quick.Food: 5/5

The Shepherd’s Pie is fantastic! So good! I cleaned the bowl. My wife got the chicken pot pie. The crust was really good but I wasn’t crazy about the flavor. It did have hearty chunks of chicken and vegetables though! Went back the next day and tried the beef stew. I recommend the shepherd’s pie.Food: 5/5

Fantastic traditional Irish pub. The Shepherd's Pie is delicious, and every dish that I've tried has felt like it includes really quality ingredients. The whiskey and scotch selection is not extensive, but includes things I really like, so it works for me. I love the old building too, I always appreciate the aesthetics and functionality balance of past generations.

Between the service, the food, the drinks, and the live music Celtic clan . net we were in absolute heaven. If you are into packed taverns full of boisterous happy people, sing alongs, great food and stiff drinks, you will be pleased. Bonus, it's only about a block from Long Wharf so you can stumble to or from your boat when you need to wet your whistle! Wheelchair accessibility: No problem at all bringing a wheelchair in here

Wow! This place is awesome with the best atmosphere and ambiance you could ask for in an Irish pub. Live music and awesome food. Get either the Shepard's pie or the smothered fries. Amazing!Food: 5/5

Our first time at this Irish establishment and the atmosphere was very good! Good people good quality food, Guinness on tap is something special and the Irish coffee mmm my goodness is something special to have after your meal. Visiting Boston you have to go to an Irish Pub and order Fish and Chips. They had a live Irish band playing music and the atmosphere was A-1. As we sit enjoying the music a young lady comes to our table with the same monotone look and later voice that she had for the duration of our visit. I do not like monotone service. I will take at least 1 smile and 1 influx in your voice but none is absolutely a no for me. Only reason I gave her a 2 star is because she made me a good Arnold Palmer. We ordered Fish and Chips at an Irish Pub and just knew it would take us to Ireland. We got closer to Ireland at Captain Ds. We had crinkle fries that I buy from dollar tree for my grandkids and fried mushy haddock could have been cod but would not have made it better that just was not good. We are well traveled and huge foodies. I would give this place another chance as we all deserve 1 but it will be awhile. Boston was a great town too. I will visit again. BGTN Black Girl Travel Notes

Food - I had fish and chips. And I was surprised by the quality. It was a nearly two inches thick, the fish was flaky, and the batter was light and crispy. The fries were a little overcooked and the coleslaw was fine. But the star was rightfully the fish, delicious. I had bread pudding and it blew away my wife and I. My wife is the dessert expert and she was taken back by how good it was. It was rich without being heavy. Every dollar well spent. Atmosphere and service - the server was patient and helpful. We stayed for the music and it made a good evening turn great. Of course it's loud but without feeling crowded. We were dining and they didn't cram us in like other similar restaurants. They were never pushy about getting us out the door while we enjoyed the band. Thank you!
