The Kingdom Resort is a premier resort which complements the Pilanesberg area through it’s architectural design and African-inspired themes. Experience and embrace the tranquility of the untamed and spectacular landscape of North West Province, South Africa.

The Kingdom Resort is perfectly positioned between the Pilanesberg National Park (5km from resort) and is on Sun City’s doorstep. In fact, for the benefit of our residents, we provide a shuttle service to Sun City and we also arrange for morning and evening game drives in the Pilanesberg National Park to depart
from our resort.


Please note that our Facebook page is monitored by our Head Office staff and all queries will only be attended to weekdays between 08:00 - 16:00.

When we first arrived I was blown away immediately of how beautiful the place is,once we were inside I was amazed to the standard and the coziness of the place. In short we would definitely come back here and we will highly recommend it to family and friends. By the time we had to leave to my surprise my husband added one more day to our stay. This shows how breath taking the place is.
The reception ladies were very friendly and helpful. I booked and paid in advance and it was a pleasure to book in. The room and bathroom is spacious, the bed very comfortableand and the linen was super soft and snug! Unfortunately the soundproofing between units is not very good and we were very aware of the kids next door. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and will be back. Highly recommended venue!
Network reception is not that good here. The worst part is their wifi has issues when trying to connect. The staff keeps making excuses, saying the service provider indicates that some devices can't connect due to settings. They are not helpful at all, zero help to connect. Our aircon was not working, and more excuses came from staff, we ended up checking out without it being fixed still after days. The rooms are a bit small. Rooms: Their bathrooms are nice and big. But housekeeping does not refill toilet paper. Nearby activities: Not far driving distance from Pilanesburg and Sun City, the place is well located. Safety: Didn't feel safe. Their staff just walks about at the back, and you constantly have to ensure the sliding doors are closed. Food & drinks: Don't order their ribs, the portion is a lot, but they don't have basting, and they are not nice at all. Their fish & calamari is good though.
The staff is very friendly and the place is lovely with a pool that is so beautiful especially at night,wish it was heated though , the rooms are clean and very cozy, there is a lot of activities from water park to game drive to kiddies packages, trampolines and play area, definitely a kids paradise but , THE AIRCON IS PREPAID , so make sure you load it up, the check in time is 3pm….but at least they let you stay for other activities the day you check out. MOST OF THE ACTIVITIES YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR , just like sun city ….it is very close to Sun City , so if you are exploring the place , check it out , it is amazing
We spent a weekend at The Kingdom Resort, there was a minor gas leak in our room, the shower door does not seal properly so the bathroom gets flooded when you shower, the DSTV decoder does not work and has a "no signal" error on it and you cant connect to the Wi-Fi with the information they give you. Lastly the Generator that was situated about 15m from our unit was so loud that you cannot hear the person next to you talk when sitting on the patio outside, I appreciate that there is backup power but a better location for the generator would need to be considered.
Excellent service, rooms were cleaned daily, braai facilities excellent. Great place to bring the kids. Lovely getaway just for couples too. Buffet breakfast was great. Have the best oven pizza for lunch at the pool. The staff is amazing. Only issue is lots of cats when you braaing at night, Management needs to manage the cat population at the resort. No noise after 9pm was amazing such a good place to rest. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.
Been here 2 days...don't really want to leave! First class service. Top notch. Amazing friendly staff...from reception to leaving security the last time. Great food. Lovely swimming pool. Don't hesitate to book here. You will not regret it. Nearby activities: Leap Adventures! Fantastic! Our guide BZ was a super, very 'user friendly' encyclopedia...about the animals, the birds, the local history...learnt so much. Safety: I went to check my son's car...he had a weird noise. Security were politely on me in under a minute...knew it wasn't my car. 10 stars.
I was a bit disappointed with what we could do there - as it was only my mum and I! and we were there in the winter. The kingdom resort will be excellent for families with children in the summer. .... I would have enjoyed a jacuzzi in the evenings or a fondue as it was winter!!Rooms: 5/5
The resort is beautiful and has so much to offer. The service was good and the rooms although not as big as I thought they are very beautiful and well maintained. The resort is family friendly we were traveling with our 5 month old and we even managed to get a baby cot for her from the resort. The restaurant is nice food was good. Breakfast menu is a bit limited though and the on site convenience store is too pricey might be better to buy your snacks water etc elsewhere. Overally enjoyed our stay.
The property layout is fabulous, its offers amazing comfort and luxury and wonderful game park. Lovely outdoor entertainment area.Rooms: 5/5
