The location was very convenient, but we had no idea how to get to the hotel, there are no clear instructions on how to get there and we tried calling the reception a couple of times and we got no response. There's a tram that will get you close to the hotel and then you have to walk for about 5 minutes to finally arrive. The room was clean and we have no complaints, everything seems to be new and there were no lingering smells like in other hotels that are older. We had dinner and breakfast, nothing special about it, it will get you out of a pinch if you hungry and tired but, don't expect anything great. I surely recommend it of you are traveling and need to spend a night close to the airport, even if it's a little bit more expensive than other hotels located near by.
Great rooms! Clean and friendly staff. It could be a little confusing getting to the hotel from the airport as it is a little of the beaten path. Breakfast was okay but the room it was in fast very nice. The hole place just gave off a fresh new look. The thermostat was a bit hard to figure out as well. Overall, I'd recommend and I would go back.
From being a superb stay to being a really bad experience on check out day. I was really happy with the location of the hotel and the room which was an upgrade. The breakfast was mediocre and the communication with the receptionists / staff is not top notch, For example when you are missing something and demand it, such as garbage bags or towels, they do not understand it and do not come with it. On the last day before we had to check out, my partner was overpowered by an employee. For breakfast where the most basic things like glasses and juice were missing, and after giving them 5-10 minutes to come up with it, we had to go to the kitchen staff ourselves. It resulted in a very angry woman scolding my partner. She even did it in front of the other guests in the room, it felt very shameful. She spoke condescendingly and seemed knowledgeable. Of course we would not find ourselves in that and when we confronted the kitchen manager with it, he had already heard it through the employee in question and started by defending her behavior - giant red flag in my book, instead of letting the guest tell his experience of the situation, he had already drawn a conclusion from the employee. We put almost 1747 EUR for the stay. Preserved we were compensated 50 EUR for the attitude of the employee but we still left with a huge disappointment over such an experience. No guest deserves to be overfed and not at all in front of other guests just to demand something one has been waiting for a long time. Maybe the angry woman should apply for another position if she has had a bad day and lets it go beyond others ..
I don’t know what everyone is on about, when you leave the train station the building says it’s name very clearly on the side and you literally just walk in a straight line and follow the sidewalk. Also that room was soo clean. I really like that in a room. I always check under the sheets and the mattress and box spring were incredibly clean. As was the shower, the caulking was nice and clean and that’s often not the case. We slept like the dead, staff was fine, breakfast was fine. Nothing to write home about but overall good stay and would book here again.
My husband and I stayed overnight for our early morning flight back home. PROS: Check in was extremely smooth. Access to airport was a short walk to the train and a 10 min ride to Terminal 2. The rooms are brand new and comfortable. CONS: The bathroom had a sewage smell that was intolerable. We kept the door closed while we slept and it wasn't too bad, but it was so gross to smell first thing in the morning. Marriott should sue the contractor who did the plumbing. This was enough to knock off 3 stars.
Very nice, new, and modern hotel but the AC is bad. Great breakfast and nice rooms. They have a central AC system and they allow you to set temp up or down by 3 degrees. The room temp was 24.2 when we checked in. We sat it to 3 degrees lower, and only went down to 23.8 by the next day and that at a day when the temp outside was very pleasant. Imagine if it were a very hot day.
This was a very pleasant place to stay! The rooms were clean and modern the hotel is new. The staff were super nice and helpful and the breakfast was really good. I will come back again in the future if I travel to Paris.Rooms: 5/5
While the hotel was not hard to find, it was a fair distance walk. You simply take the free train from any terminal and get off at the car park station, when you leave the station and look to your left you'll see the Residence Inn. Easy! Breakfast was really good, especially If you compare it to the free breakfast you get at Residence Inn in North America. I took some pictures to give everyone an idea of what to expect. One negative was that I didn't like the shower...there is no shower door? All the water will splash onto the floor. I recently checked in to another hotel in Spain and it's the same thing, must be a European thing? I also wish the hotel was closer, after a long day in Paris I was dreading the long walk back to the hotel.
Very difficult to find! My wife and I stayed here overnight while waiting for a flight. This hotel is remarkably hidden and it was frustrating trying to find it. The main way of getting to this hotel from the airport is to take the CDG Val tram. But the problem is that the maps both on the tram, and at the tram stop list all the other hotels EXCEPT for Residence Inn. We had to hope that the hotel was where it was supposed to be. The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean but nothing too fancy. The food was decent. It's a perfectly acceptable hotel for short travel stays, but I wouldn't go out of your way for it.
Good brand new hotel just next to the Courtyard Marriott. Used points to book for only 1 night enabling easy in and out of the CDG airport and got upgraded to an one bedroom suite with nice kitchenware and a bath tub!! Very happy about the room. Breakfast was average, no eggs bars for freshly made omelets or eggs. Shutter bus to airport terminals only departs from courtyard marriot front door and you have to book in advance and it costs 8 euros each ride. Only available in the morning every hour. I took the 1030am one today. Overall very good stay if you happen to need a hotel room near the airport
