Honestly don’t understand why this place only has 4,2 stars. The fish is always exceptional. The fish cakes are an epic treat if you can get there on time before they’re sold out though sometimes a bit over seasoned. In my experience, if the fishmonger is not 100% sure something is fresh they won’t sell it to you. My girlfriend always nags me about why we don’t just buy our fish from Woolies with the rest of the shop and every time I make the trip to buy on the day from The Little Fisherman and she has the fish, she comes back to her senses. If you’re already paying for fish, make the effort to get it fresh. Makes a massive difference.
Great quality fresh fish as well as a large selection of frozen prawns and crayfish tails.
I was there today at Neil the owner is super friendly. It was my first time there. The products are super fresh and the fish. You must have the fish cake, oh my word it's delicious but get there early. I'm sure you will go back for more. Thank you for the great service.
Small place we found on google with a surprising amount of stock and variety. Only disappointment was all the good fresh shellfish was pre-ordered by locals which is understandable. Frozen crayfish tails and prawns we purchased were still great quality.
Amazing little shop in the Old Bakery centre. Fresh fish available always. Lots of browzing to be done. Great sushi served here. And do not leave without having a fishcake for a take away. You will love this little shop.
Bought over R200 of hake that was suppose to be fresh fish, it 100% not fresh. What a waste of a trip and a disapointing supper to end up in the bin.
Very neat and tidy shop. Staff needs financial training but they sure are friendly and helpful. Great owner that you can trust.
Their Maine scallops are the best I've had. Good service and advice. They even get in Karoo lamb on a weekly basis! Recommended
Your website is in need of some serious upgrading. I'm trying to find out what prawn products you have and prices. Impossible.
