Great location and gradually becoming busier. Started out fantastic but service has Really struggled to keep up with rapid growth of the restaurant. A good variety in Food and Beverages. We had a wonderful experience here, the staff were friendly and efficient, the food was excellent and the music was really lovely. The jalapeño poppers were amazing and spicy. A great place to round off a weekend. We will definitely return. Parking: Ample, safe parking.
Went for a greek salad and the cheapest salad was R85. It was not good at all. Very basic and very little. Not enjoyable BUT iv given a 3 star because I tried the devil wings. They were really good. My boyfriend had a cheese burger with vacon. It looked and tasted great according to him. I had a pizza there a couple of weeks back. Was good. Nice to sit outside and watch golf range. Staff are pleasant.
Excellent service, everytime! I want to comment on the food but the first time I went I had a burger... It was so good its the only thing I order there now, so I don't know but if the rest of the menu is anything like the bacon cheese burger always add blue cheese sauce! then it's amazing!
I used to be an adoring fan of this place. Don’t get me wrong, it is still incredible and one of my absolute favourite places around but with the new menu change I am so disappointed. They removed some of their main attraction options from the menu and for that reason I don’t visit as much anymore as there is less incentive. What they do have on offer is still mouth watering and tasting so a definite must visit as it is always top quality. I just miss the old menu and want those savoury waffles to come back. Those were to die for. But a great vibe, stunning atmosphere and lovely location. You must visit this place.
Well I came to Hunger Stop but you can't sit down for their menu. Take away only. Their burger menu looks awesome, but I was told this Local Kitchen menu had a few of the same burgers. I had a damn fine burger here man, one of the best pepper sauces ever. The service is excellent. Burger prices are value for money as the portion is not small. The patty is cooked to a tasty medium and the bacon was just perfect. They serve a superb gourmet milkshake. Salted caramel and peanut butter. The place has an excellent rustic atmosphere. Go to the back of the driving range to get in.
Service: We were quickly seated and attended to as soon as we sat down. Drinks order quickly taken. Food: The steak was perfection - not overcooked and perfect. Thin cut however it was really great Overall: Great service, awesome family crowd with gas heaters to keep you warm.
The most friendly staff I have ever met! We brought our puppy with and the staff were awesome with him. One of the gentleman even took him and his leash and walked him around a bit and played with him! The food was unbelievable - I had a salad and my boyfriend had the steak. The creamed spinach was to die for! Thank you for awesome service and delicious food at an affordable price
The local kitchen has been my neighborhood favourite for a while now. They serve amazing breakfasts and I recently started to visit for lunches and dinners which have proven to be equally as amazing. Heads up they have the most amazing chicken wings!!! I would rate them top 3 in South Africa. It's the kind of spot that is intimate but well known by the community, therefore it's often fully booked from Thursday evenings sometimes even from Wednesdays.
A really awesome experience. So different from sitting indoors. Pet and children friendly, nice craft centre for kids. Food really good with a nice varied menu. We have tried several dishes and have not ever been disappointed. Great outdoor experience.Food: 5/5
