Nice relaxing spot with a gorgeous view of the mountains and right next to the botanical gardens. Lots of space for the kids to run and plant nursery to the side aswell. Good varied menu and everything was delicious. The milkshakes are definitely the star of the show! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking goes past regular parking with lots of space for getting out/in. Path then goes al the way to the seating area.
3 November 2022 The Eats: Cheese toastie and chips Chefs special: Mince and egg on toast plus coffee. R90. Total including tip. Mince was delish The Eats round 2: Salted Caramel and Rum and Raisin Gourmet shakes Pros: Very affordable Lovely area by the botanical gardens. There is a very affordable nursery right there as well Great for a light meal or something sweet Friendly staff and good service Gourmet shakes are yummy too sweet for me personally Cons: Many items on the menu is off limits when there is loadshedding
Delicious milkshakes it's awesome that they let you choose 2 flavors to combine. Uniquely different only negative was the paper straws, just doesn't work for milkshakes!
Best view of the mountain and even better eats and drinks. Thank you for hosting our Network Meeting this week. Your food and drinks is as also delicious, best priced and value for money.
Waiters and the service was all lovely, there is no fault there. The menu could do with improvement to offer healthier options/better variety as well as options other than mostly fried foods and sandwiches. The decor and furniture really needs improvement as well. The garden is pretty and drinks were nice.
An absolute gem and my favorite restaurant in George by far. The service is great and the food is scrumptious. They go the extra mile to be pet friendly with amenities and even doggy menu options. The garden is lovely for summer and the glasshouse is cozy on a cold rainy day. I hope this restaurant sticks around forever.
Great views. Had lovely chocolate cake and coffee. Went back a few days later for lunch. The food was disgusting. Chicken strips was overcooked and dry. The chips were made out of thin crinkle cut potatoes and were soaked in oil. We landed up ordering the carrot cake and milk tart. Very disappointing.
We have rarely experienced such a warm service and when on top of that the delicious dishes are added, then it is just perfect. The whole thing is rounded off by the backdrop of the botanical garden. Thumbs up! Greetings from the Pink Marshmallow and No Marshmallow from Germany
Lovely garden and relaxing atmosphere. Gormet milkshakes look delicious and taste delicious too Friendly staff.
Still 5 stars just in a marvelous new venue at the Botanical Gardens where Getafix used to be. Love the new Conservatory and the new look gardens. Highly recommended for Breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea and great coffee. Their Milkshakes are legendary.
