Great menue, very relaxed atmosphere and great music.
Really great drinks selection and very friendly service. Upstairs is really beautiful when it's warmer and there's a nice, cozy vibe inside.
They have a great burger special on Monday night's and the atmosphere is friendly. We did experience poor service this time, The burgers were over cooked and the rosemary fries had no rosemary... but the manager handled everything professionally and did his best to make up for the mishaps everybody has bad days. Our previous experience was positive, so it's worth forgiving and forgetting... maybe 3rd time lucky?
A firm favourite burger joint on Bree which, as opposed to the others doesn't compensate mediocre food with cliché decors and over the top menu descriptions. It's the perfect spot for a burger, bar nibble and a glass. Their burgers special 2 burgers for R100 is a pretty awesome deal. Great for groups and birthday bashes. Live music on Wednesdays.
We were there on a quiet Saturday evening, soft music, dimmed lights, chatter of the diners around us, the vibe was just relxing and great. The waiters were friendly, informative and constantly checked up on us and asking if we are all good. Then came the food. Amazing, delicious, well presented and just something out of this world. Definitely a place to visit more than once. Normally they would have DJs playing from Thursday to Saterday evenings, Mondays had burger specials and Tuesdays is a fish and chips special.
My favourite winter spot, with a warm fire place and great live music. The staff is really well trained, however when the house is full, quality goes down like everywhere else?. Amazing food options ranging from classic burgers to pub snacks. The zucchini fries and polenta are amazing snacks if you are there just for a drink. My favourite plate is the burger with fig and camembert.... There is always great music and a lively vibe in the pub, during the nights with live music it can be packed, so I always reserve a table with Feastfox.
Super friendly bartenders and great tasting food. The space is however very limited, so don't think you'll get any privacy here. But I'd say that if you go here, you're the kind of person that enjoys a noisy vibe with crowds it is bree street after all.
Nice venue with interesting food and wine selection. Staff are friendly and professional. Good all-round venue with small bar downstairs and more formal seating upstairs with some views of the street and city. Great place to start an evening on the town.
Great price for their burgers. Those Cajun skins are also just delicious. If you looking for a gastro pub in the heart of the city, then you have found your place.
The service was amazingly good and the staff so friendly! I love your menu and will definitely be back for the ravioli and risotto! Drink choices and suggestions given by staff, music and comfortable vibe, it only gets more intriguing...
