We went for dinner with a large party on a week night. Had the restaurant to our selves. Service was slightly slow but the meal was great. Fillet mignon medium rare was made perfectly. Great selection of starters and dessert. Friendly staffFood: 5/5

We hosted my moms 70th Birthday dinner at the Rooftop Cafe and everything was up to standard. The decor was out of this world. The food was top class. The service was outstanding. The waiters were amazing and oh so friendly. They catered to our every need. Our guests could not stop raving about everything. A big thank you to the entire team for absolutely everything.

The Rooftop Restaurant 16 April 2023. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Had the best eggs benedict with chicken fillet, the eggs were perfectly poached, the chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavour. Well done to the chef.

Returned to Rooftop several times, even during their construction phase. They have high standards for service,  quality food and a fine dining experience. The  rack of ribs was succulent, tasteful and fell off the bone. Everything else was plated well and tasted heavenly. Never disappointed, and they went the extra mile to play a happy birthday song over the speakers and sang personally while bringing our dessert. Personal touches were heart warming and special. Romantic atmosphere indeed.

What an amazing experience we had at the Rooftop Restaurant today! Had a beautiful farewell for a colleague! Even though we were a big group 28 people the service was flawless, professional and friendly!  The tables were set up beautifully and all staff were helpful! And to top it all off the food was amazing! We had the 2 course set menu.  Will definitely visit this restaurant again!

Decent decor, nice food with good options. For the price...portion sizes are a bit small.Food: 4/5

Service and food is average. We were there for a baby shower. The chef used his fingers no gloves to add the condiments to my fried egg- I was horrified but didn't make an issue as I was a guest at a function. Food and coffee took forever to arrive. Pastries were hard as rock  scones. The seating area is nice though.

Reason for my rating is that the Kingklip was raw in the middle.. Got my meal after the table was served. Another pregnant lady waited until we were all done eating .. she also ordered the Kingklip.  I tasted the Beef Fillet.. that was well done and quite delicious as well as the Dynamite Prawn Starter.. creme Brule was also delicious.  Maybe Kingklip should be removed from your menu and replaced with another seafood dish. Someone said if they knew I chose it they would have told me not to take the kingklip which means that clearly the kitchen staff needs to learn to prepare it properly.. the venue was really lovely.  Everything was clean toilets included.. decor was beautiful too. It was my nieces bridal shower..

Great for special occasions. First tried them on my honeymoon, have been going back ever since. Food is always amazing, but the weekend chef just has that special something. Favourite place to treat family
