Situated 500 metres from the banks of the Vaal River, if you are looking for fun in a relaxed atmosphere, coupled with outstanding food, drink and service, The Shack is the place to be.
The Shack has been around since 2010. It offers something quite different from the ordinary, everyday entertainment venue.
The theme and decor is a unique combination of typical African and South African memorabilia. “A taste of South Africa” but not the beer hall of the South African townships. Hospitality reflects the good old “meet your mates in the pub” for fun and a pint.
We have not forgotten the family. The unique layout and size of the venue ensures that families, from baby to Oupa, can feel comfortable in our company. There is a jungle gym, trampoline, beach volley-ball and plenty of space for the kids to run. All areas are wheelchair friendly. There is an outdoor garden, covered and uncovered seating areas. Or you may want to get closer to the action and sit inside at one of the tables or bar. The Vaal Triangle’s little secret sits inside as well. An indoor beach is unique to the area.
The juke box ensures that you get to hear your kind of music and live entertainment is offered on occasion. If you are looking for larger event, such as weddings, birthday parties or company events, look no further. We cater for it all, in the area of your choice, hosting parties from 4 to 400. Various menus ensure your event’s success, with menus from Spit Braai, Braai, Buffets and customised meals including traditional South African dishes and roasts. We also host breakfast functions.
