A great place for both adults and kids we hade a joyful and fun vacation. Not a moment of getting bord. Oh yes and the fishing is great if you have the right stuff and the best fishing spot. All I can say, it is a place that I will most definitely revisit. This time with the whole Fam. Thanks Christo and Angie also Tsiedi you all very friendly. Rooms: The rooms are fine its ok for me just needs a little bit of attention. But thumbs-up. Nearby activities: Right there on the premises. We normally go here for their chips, burgers, and the scene. It's just great for Sunday afternoon outings.Service: 3/5

Angeliqe and her husband were very helpfull We felt very safe Location and views of dam was very nice If U cant afford to go to the coast this is definately a place to vissit Eating with water under you definately an experience not to be missed

The over all experience of the place wasn't very pleasant. We booked a chalet for the weekend and the person who saw us to our chalet when we got there was rude and almost irritated to show us through the place. The food was heavily overpriced, we bought 4 toasted sandwiches and 2 burgers and payed nearly R900 and it wasn't even worth the R900 we payed. The only person who was nice was the owner who opened the gate for us the following morning of our first night because we couldn't stay another day there and went somewhere else instead

The manager and some staff make this place what it is. My go to place everytime we are at the Vaal.Service: 4/5

The staff was overwhelmed with Christmas guests but they were still very pleasant and the food was fantastic. Of course, because they were overwhelmed with customers, we were not served for a long while and our milkshakes took a while to come. I'd go back any day.

It has a lot of spider webs and shower drains don't drain properly

Worth a visit if you are in Deneysville. One of the better restaurants in the area. Food was good. Only 1 waiter/manager who tried his best to service the tables. Food was served cold and the starters were forgotten. Feel for the guys - they tried. Hoping service improves once things settle down.

What a terrible place! I wish I could give you a minus rating! The service was terrible, the manager was extremely rude and we waited almost 3 hours for our food. When we received our burgers the one was still bloody so we sent it back and got charged for another burger because we sent a raw one back???!!! How is this place still open??? Get new management and get new policies in place. Will never refer anyone to this place.
