The Talkhouse Cafe

Before going to this incredible restaurant, you should skip a few meals. You can't help but eat every dish because they are all so delicious. Excellent, modest, and lovely find. A tasting meal with a lot of variety and good value. Delicious meal with excellent presentation, service, and creativity. a top attraction in Westville. The Talkhouse was fantastic in every way. It smelled pleasant and was clean. The staff worked collaboratively, and our waiter was so kind. One thing that particularly impressed us was how hospitable everyone there was. Nearly every customer felt at home at this restaurant, and it was lovely to see how each one was recognized on a personal basis. Each employee here gives the consumer extraordinary attention. If I said I had ever been treated that way in a restaurant, I'd be lying. What a warm welcome, followed by outstanding cuisine and first-rate service. Do a favour to yourself and go here.

I had a vegetarian breakfast, toasted sourdough bread with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, halloumi topped with rocket as well. It was absolutely delicious. Service is remarkable, thoroughly impressed.

A good place for breakfast. Service was accommodating and friendly. The staff managed to serve us during load shedding. The breakfast was well prepared, even if a bit under seasoned preference I guess . Would really like to see more meat options only pork was available. The menu could also do with a bit more excitement. The items were fairly standard and I don’t remember any particular item that jumped at me. This isn’t always a bad thing though. The plunger coffee I ordered was good.

'Sidewalk' cafe at the entrance to Westville Mall. Ideal to chill outdoors and enjoy fresh air; good food and great hospitality. Ideal for small meetings, friendly catch-up chats and taking a break from your day over a delicious coffee and snack.Food: 4/5

Food was great! We ordered avo on toast and the oats and berry breakfast and it really was good! The only thing was that it did take a while even tough there weren't a lot of people, but it was worth the wait. Would definitely recommend to go and try their food!

We went to Talkhouse for breakfast. The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was also very good. The mini breakfast was enough for me and the French toast for my partner just as good. I would recommend the establishment.Food: 4/5

Great Caffe Mocha, great atmosphere and perfect spot for meetings. Would be nice if they have some membership benefits etc... Would have meetings here's everyday with a few cups of mocha...Food: 4/5

We met up for quick lunch , just mom's and daughters. I loved their simple menu offering, I ordered a tasty chicken fillet salad, that my daughter ended up finishing off! The portions were quite sizeable amounts. The restaurant is situated in a small fairly busy shopping centre, it is partly indoors but moreso outdoors, with a walkaway leaving the centre into the parking lot. Which can be slightly awkward. But the friendly staff and owner /manager make up for it. They also sell good quality scatter cushions and other soft furnishings more for the shabby chic, country styled home . 9/10
