Great stop if you are an Indian food fan! Everything we ordered was excellent! Very friendly staff. Forgot to get a good picture of the appetizer before we tore it apart. Also, they served us a pickeled onion and a mint dip before the order was even taken. Pretty good was a big fan of the onion.Food: 5/5
My son and I stopped in by chance for something different. We were instantly greeted and everyone was kind, welcoming and went above and beyond. The food was delicious and was out quickly. This place is a hidden gem. I would come back again and again! Thank you for such kind and courteous service and a delicious meal. We will definitely return.
The smells were amazing. The food was tasty. Everything was fresh. It's definitely a repeat experience for me. A little bit pricier than I expected but I don't mind because the food was very tasty. My only concern or my only downfall was when they serve the butter chicken. It's a very small amount. Other than that, make sure you try the biryani.
Taking the number of die hard Indians wanting typical Hindustani cuisine the place is good enough . The negative side is people seem to changed the way their taste buds feel .
Overall 2/5. We ordered Shahi paneer, garlic naan with green salad. 1. Shahi paneer was 100% Haldiram’s frozen gravy with extra tadka. not a good taste, avoid. 2. Garlic Naan, baked fresh and tasted good. 3. Green Salad, was full of green cabbage with 2 pieces of Tomatoes not sure why they call it a green salad. Coming back? No.
What a terrible experience ordering from this restaurant through GrubHub. The meat dishes were stale and had a bad taste, as if it had been sitting out for a while. I ordered mild mix grill platter, but what I got was a ton of onions and a few pieces of red colored chicken, burnt seekh Kabab of god knows what meat, a curled up shrimp which looked disgustingly unappetizing; extremely disappointed and felt like I had wasted my money on a meal that didn't live up to its price tag. I had requested mild spice levels for some items and higher spice level for others in the order, but the restaurant completely disregarded my request and most food was far too spicy and unpalatable for the family. Chicken Biryani was a joke on next level; mixing rice with chicken curry and adding heaps of dry mint does not make it Biryani. This restaurant is deceiving it customers. 1 star is only because Rajmah was the only thing we could eat, the rest went to trash. The overall experience was terrible and left a bad taste. I don't think I'll be returning to this restaurant again.
A must-visit "North" Indian restaurant. Tip: If a restaurant knows how to make good dal tadka, rajma and chapati then, it is a great Indian restaurant. We were in Orlando for four nights and each night we dined here. We tried the following dishes: 1. Saag Makki roti 2. Rajma Chawal 3. Dal tadka 4. Aloo tamatar 5. Chapati 6. Naan And must admit that all dishes were tasty. Ask for Indian-level spice if you want to enjoy hot-savory dish. It is advisable to reach the restaurant in the early hours as some of the dishes may not be available once the rush increases. The staff is friendly and tries to accommodate all requests.
I am giving this place 3.5 stars but don't have that option. However, the food wasn't bad so I rounded up to 4 stars. Because of the location which is full of restaurants and attractions, the price is exorbitantly high. Price of nan touching $3-4 a piece. Each dish is close to $20. That's extortion level. The ambience was less than desirable, washrooms were available, sufficient parking in the plaza. Will I go back....NO!. Do I recommend?... absolutely NO. However, if you feel like eating Indian/Punjab then with limited options around, the food is good. Vegetarian options: I ordered Daal Makhani and was good.
Delicious, distinct flavors. We had mixed bhaji to start followed by lamb vindaloo, chicken madras, palak paneer and baigan bharta all which come with unlimited rice. Everything was spiced “medium” hot which was enough to make our noses run. Each dish was flavored uniquely and authentically. Great service, fair prices and family friendly atmosphere. We will be back! Vegetarian options: Numerous vegetarian options, from mixed veggies to biryanis to curries. Parking: Free parking lot in front of the restaurant.
This place is amazing!!!! My daughter and I fell in love with the food and service while spending a week in Orlando Disney Parks. Today is our second visit where we left the park to eat at Taste of Punjab. The flavors here are off the charts spectacular!! Our server Sonya is so kind and made our dinning experience complete and one to remember. Give this place a try, you will be happy in doing so. 5 STAR!!!
