De Molen Pancake House

Great experience. Food was amazing, fresh and great quality. The service was a little slow, but could also be that there are few front of house staff for the peak periods. Did not deter from the visit at all. I do suggest, you visit if you are relaxing and willing to take it easy This is not a grab and go kinda placeFood: 5/5

The best Dutch food in JHB. The Windmill restaurant is above the amazing bakery. The pancakes are legendary and the croquettes are our favorite!! We love visiting for a coffee and pancake. Family friendly and great service.

Very cute little Restaurant in Edenvale. We came here to get some of JHBs best pancakes and weren't disappointed! Nice selection of sweet and savory pancakes and other meals. Very kids friendly, great spot for a Sunday family breakfast. Kid-friendliness: All needed things are available. They even have a fold down diaper changing board in the women's bathroom.

Food was overpriced. Been here a few years ago, and brought friends, as the pancakes were large and delicious. Now they're regular and a bit mediocre. Service was fine, but we didn't receive a tray with salt/pepper/Sauces with, we had to request. The look is a bit dated, but at least themed. Would be nicer if the music was too.

A trip up to this quaint little windmill restaurant is always a delightful experience. It’s a nice cosy spot for a breakfast gathering. You can’t go wrong with their pancakes, just be warned the portions are huge! The croquettes are also delicious. Pop downstairs and grab a few baked goods to go while you’re at it.

One star, but honestly not even worth one star. It was quiet inside but yet still waiting for over 25 minutes and still didn't even got the menu I spoke even with two waitresses. Walked away and would not recommend this place to others. Would have been nice as a Dutch person to try some Dutch dishes here, but not in this way.

Best pancakes I have ever had. Friendly staff and I must complement the cleanliness of the place. Such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Truly enjoyed my visit. Thank you
