Absolutely love this place! Restaurant is very outdoorsy and well lit. Love the atmosphere, very relaxing. Staff are friendly. Love that there are so many jams and sauces on display that you can choose from. There is a huge variety of desserts and beverages as well as food on their menu. My Absolutely favorite thing was the pecan cheesecake I've ordered. One of the best cheesecakes I have ever tasted. They also have a huge variety of cheesecakes to choose from. My husband order the churos, that was a bit underwhelming but then again maybe it just wasn't for us. They also have a short fun trail to go on that loops back to the restaurant. There is also a small play area for kids. Really nice if you are feeling for something sweet or go for coffee. Unfortunately this place is bit of a drive as I am more central in Durban
A most beautiful place to relax . Magnificent natural habitat. Also has a nature trail. After you have your meals you can take a scroll into the nature reserve. It was about 1 hour drive from where I live but it was worthwhile. I will always go there and recommend this place to everyone I know.Food: 5/5
The food was incredible, which is justified by its relatively hefty price. The service was on point and they have a nice forest walk to take to burn your calories you just put on while eating the incrediblly sweet cheesecakes.Food: 5/5
After seeing it all over Instagram I had to visit. Suggest getting a seat outside on the balcony if you can for the best view. The food isn’t halaal but there is parking available and a nice forest walk as well as play area for kids. Suggest going for a light snack or just to have a coffee even so you can visit the store inside and the forest walk as well.
Have been here multiple times and the service is always slow. Food is delicious though and worth the wait.

Only ever tried the breakfast menu, friendly staff, beautiful setting and the walk through the "forest" is awesome, could be a little longer tho Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian menu
We always stop at The Waterberry when we are in Ballito. Everything we’ve ordered is always delicious and well presented, and in most cases, decadent. Would definitely recommend having a waffle. There is a small kids jungle gym and a 0.5 km walk through costal forest. Ideal for the small ones to explore.
Great ambience, friendly, welcoming staff. A special shout out to our server, Dee. She took very good care of us today! Food is delicious, pecan pie cheesecake, lemon meringue, death by chocolate waffle. Beautiful greenery and surrounds. Thank you!
Waterberry is a lovely little garden bakery/restaurant with a great selection and lovely atmosphere. I have had multiple meals that were of top notch quality and can especially recommend the Cheesecake. The have a little nature trail for those we like adventure and quiet walks, as well as a little play area for kids. The view of the pond is what really brings the atmosphere and you will most definitely want to return. They do often get very busy so waiting times may differ, but all in all a very good place for breakfast or afternoon tea!
