"When the idea for The White House Gallery was first conceived we had a bigger picture in mind. More than catering to the discerning tastes of serious collectors of contemporary, local and international art, we wanted to create an ambience in which first time buyers with no real knowledge of art would feel equally at home. So in recognising that building an art collection is an exciting journey, rather than a destination, we set about acquiring a wide ranging portfolio."
