Best Ocean Basket experience in Johannesburg so far, the food was great, fresh seafood, cold drinks with glasses from the freezer. Small efforts that make them stick out everytime. Great experience, big ups to the team involved. Vegetarian options: Ocean Basket has vegetarian menu items and various vegetarian sushi.

The food at Ocean Basket was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel welcome. The food was amazing and of great quality! The service was okay. However, they can improve by having their waitresses be a little more friendly. Also, the table setup is very cramped and close to each other in the section upstairs. Overall a lovely experience.Food: 5/5

Best food ever. Sushi!! Clearly freshly made! Kingklip and prawns amazing. And lovely grilled calamari. Brilliant service from Melissa. She is their hidden or not so hidden gem. Lovely, friendly, and extremely good at the whole service thing.

Love Ocean Basket always. Had the food there after 3 years, still the same taste. Love the starter bread with Garlic Butter and Mayo. Simply awesome. Your Haloumi cheese and Cajun fish and prawns are delight.
