Didn't buy much, just a single board. No cutting required. Service perfectly adequate. I did notice the variety of product available in the store...nice to see a range from which one can choose.
If I could give a minus rating I would. Called to enquire about a piece of wood to be cut. Took 2 calls before the phone was answered, and passed through 2 people to get to the right person. He told me, after I told him I could be there in 10 minutes, he says no it takes about an hour. So I'm there an hour later... Wait at the counter in front of someone, who totally ignores me. He was busy writing, the lest he could've done was just say, I'll be with you now. This was after 1.5 minutes. Moved to another person, who also ignored me at first. Make enquires etc, can only collect tomorrow. Told them about the phone call. THREE of them went to call the person I spoke to, and they were laughing and looking on their phones etc, never mind hugging and touching. Dude comes and argues and says I didn't pay yet. Repeat the conversation to him. Raises his voice at me and argued relentlessly. I walked out. Not one person smiled at a customer. There was another guy there looking like he was about to loose it as well. NEVER GOING BACK!!! Train your staff how to actually work and NOT mess around on thier phones and flirt with each other AND what customer service is. Oh and how to speak proficiantly and smile.
Very helpful and their edging quality is outstanding
I had timber cut for cupboards. Some were cut wrong, others didn't get edging finishes, as it was missed. I then took all the wrong things back, wich they did for me, but still they left out to drill holes, and 1 of the back boards came back cracked. This must now be taken back again for cutting. But the service, treating their clients I must say, is exelent. And they do correct their mistakes without any problems.

I enjoy the shop. Unfortunately I do not use them often due to them not having prices on their web site. When I need something I go onto the web and can immediately see their cometitors pricing lrm, bw, chmb don’t have time to waste sending you an enquiry and then having to wait for a reply? By that time I had already bought what I needed somewhere else. Suggest you investigate, you might just i crease your turnover

No communication regarding Open days during the this 2021 Dec-Jan holidays. The automated telephone mentions nothing that they are closed and no mentions of their holiday dates operating days and hours, the automated telephone just keeps on transferring me to the next operator. NO notification of the holiday operating hours at the shop as well - Just the NORMAL trading hours. Google shows that they are Open, but i know this could be not 100% correct, but least have your automated telephone service give the correct information. Bad management!
Very,very good service, friendly people always there when you need something will go back and support them always.
Something wrong is going on at that shop recently. The staff only helps those that they know, we as small DIY people no one care or even helps us. They actually even go ahead and ignore us. You can see the shop is busy but they only busy with their own customers. They even cut the que in front of us. I spoke to guy in the front desk he said to me, I did not see you that you are next meanwhile I've been looking at him and he also looking at me. I am very disappointed at the service at this store. Cashiers are the most unfriendly people I don't even want to get started with them. TIMBERCITY you better get your act right every single customer of yours in the collections are complaining for missing deadlines. This is not acceptable
